ICIEST’S POV:

I scoffed at this as I pouted because I didn’t want to let go of this comfortable position. Just her being here with me is already enough to make me somehow forget about all the things that I am thinking about right now.

Even though I know that she didn’t need to sneak out of the hospital because it was dangerous, I couldn’t help but be selfish as well, because deep in my heart and in the back of my mind, I knew that I wanted this so badly.

Maybe she noticed my expression, so she sighed at me helplessly as she answered the phone beside me without standing up. She even rested her head on my shoulder again as she placed her phone to her ear, and I smiled and remained silent beside her while the call was on and she was busy answering whatever question they had for her.

I can’t blame them though; my wife just sneaked out without telling any of them. Aside from that, based on the report from my men, one of her friends is in the hospital right now. I let out a sigh as she hung
