ICIEST’S POV:

I wanted to slap myself that time because I felt so selfish for just thinking about myself when I still had my children who were waiting for me to take care of them and let them experience the family that both of us and their mom didn’t experience because of how cruel the world was to us by taking our parents at an early age.

It happened one night, so when I heard him cry, I immediately walked towards their crib, and there I saw him crying as his brother was awakened because of his cry as well.

The only difference is that Chronicles was just staring at his crying brother silently. Even at a young age, Chronicles wasn’t the type of baby who cried a lot except when he was hungry, unlike History, who always cried every time. But I don’t mind; I am still fond of both of them and I love them equally no matter what happens.
