Denise is my wife

[ Mavis's POV ]

The reason why I left the house earlier was because I got a call from the spy I hired to spy on my dad. I went back to my room to change into a hoodie, because I was feeling cold, when I got a call from him, saying he had some information to tell me.

I didn't tell Denise where I was going, because I don't want her to be involved in this. The only way I can protect Denise is not letting her find out about my plans.

I arrived at the bar where I was supposed to meet him, and we were attended to by the bartender. "So what information do you have about my Dad?" I asked.

"Your dad was in Cuba during the incident that happened to Denise" He said.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"What I am trying to say is that he was in Cuba at that time Denise fell inside the pool"

"He must have sent someone to do the work for him. My father is a crook, so I am sure he sent someone that day to push Denise inside the pool, and cover up his dirty scheme, by saying he was in Cuba that day" I
