Chapter 2

                                 Ivy 

Summer is over, and it's time for me to go back to school, which I don't wanna. Not that I am bad at school, it's just so stressful. 

I go with Elena, Tabby, and Lisa to school. I wanted to go with Chris, but Lola came over, and I changed my mind. My brother and Lola are always smooching when they're driving. I so do not plan on dying in a car crash because my brother and his girlfriend were smooching. 

It's an awful way to die! 

We get to school and head to our lockers. Our lockers are right beside each other. Some people come over to say hi, and we talk a little. 

One thing I love about my school is that there is no drama. We didn't have any bullies or mean girls. My school is peaceful, and I love my life without drama. 

Someone catches my eye. Well, everyone's eyes. It's Xavier, Irene and his vampires friends. This is not good. 

Wolves, vampires and humans in the same school is going to be bad, real bad.

“She’s so hot” Nicolas, my friend, says. They're talking about Lola, a girl we saw yesterday, when Chris was going to become the alpha. 

“But not as hot as Ivy,” Jayden, my friend also, screams from behind. Nicolas instantly agrees with him. 

“Aside from being hot, she's very feisty,” I say. Yesterday when we went to their territory, which is breaking the rules, she told us to get off their territory, and you could see the rage in her eyes. 

“Feisty and hot is a good combination,” Nicolas says. 

“A very good combination,” Jayden adds. 

“But remember guys, she's mine,” I say, and shift my gaze from the road to them. 

My dad gave me orders to make Ivy fall in love with me, change her into a vampire, so both of us could lead the vampires together. I suggested I just use my mind compulsion on her, but my dad said no, he wants a deep connection. 

My sister is driving in her car behind us with her friend Tracy, and Tracy's boyfriend Jackson, and she doesn't like this plan at all. She says it's manipulation, but she can't say that to dad. She says I am gonna fall in love with her, which is not gonna happen. Even my friends say the same thing.

Sure, Ivy is hot, but I’ve dated some girls here and there, so I don't see why I would fall for her. My sister did point out that we have a lot in common. For example, we are both fierce, and she's not like other girls. She doesn't give in easily, which really attracts me. I love challenges, I really do.

We finally arrive at their highschool, and when we enter everyone looks at us. The wolves because we're vampires. The humans because they have seen no one as fine as we are. 

We file some paperwork with the principal, and I and my friend's head to our physics class. We introduce ourselves, and all the human girls are drooling over us. The wolves just look mad, especially Ivy. Lucky for me I get a seat beside her, which makes Ivy more mad. I want to bug her, but I decide to save that for when we're in the cafeteria.

I watch Ivy and her friends as they eat. Ivy is truly beautiful. Her thick black hair, which is in a messy bun, her brown eyes, her white skin tone. She's wearing a black shirt with cargo pants that brings out her physique. 

“I’m going to Ivy’s table,” I say to my friends and sister, and leave to their table. 

“Hey” I say, and sit in between Elena and Ivy. 

“What the hell bro?” Ivy asks. 

“What's wrong?” I ask cluelessly. 

“What's wrong is you’re sitting at this table,” Elena says. 

“Hello,” some blonde girl says. Then I notice some other girls are here. They probably didn't have the courage to meet me at my table, so they're using Ivy as an excuse. 

“Hi,” We all reply. 

“So, Ivy, do you know Xavier?” The blonde asks and gives me this flirtatious look. I wonder how she knows my name. I guess gossip spreads fast. 

“Yeah, we’re neighbours,” I reply, before she can answer. 

“Well, Ivy, I did not know you have such a hot neighbour,” some girl with black hair says. 

“She probably wants to keep me to all herself,” I say, and everyone laughs except Ivy and her friends. They want me out of this table as soon as possible, but I ain't leaving soon. 

I see Chris give me a look which means, you're dead. I didn't give a damn what he wants to do. He doesn't own me, and is not the boss of me. I do want, when I want. I don't care what he thinks. He can jump off a cliff, and I still won't care.

I am following Ivy to her workplace. After school, Ivy and her friends go to their workplace. They work as servers at this restaurant. Ivy probably thinks I know nothing about her, but she's wrong, very wrong. I probably know her more than she knows herself. I know her schedule, how she enjoys taking a jog every morning, and when she's angry, she jogs to release her bad energy. 

I’ve been watching Ivy for years (even before my dad said I should make her fall for me), you can call me a creep, or stalker, or whatever. I enjoy watching her. I especially love watching her sleep. Words can't describe the way it makes me feel watching her sleep. I just enjoy it. 

We arrive at where Ivy works, and I wait a little before going in, so she doesn't know I followed them here. 

I go in and take a seat. I see Ivy taking someone’s other, and damn she looked fine, even with her white half waist apron. 

I call her attention, and without looking away from her notepad, comes over. 

“What can I get you?” she asks with a smile, then looks away from the notepad. Her smile changes instantly. 

“Are you on the menu?” I ask “because you look really appetizing.” 

“No sir, the last time I checked, Ivy Watson isn't on the menu.”

“What a shame,” I say. "Well then, I want some fries and hamburgers.” 

“Coming right up,” she says and leaves. 

Now that I think about it, what exactly do Ivy and her friends need a job for? 

Ivy’s mom is a real estate agent. 

Elena's mom is a nurse, and her dad is a doctor. 

Tabby's mom is also a real estate agent, and her dad is an engineer. 

Lisa's mom is an event planner, and her dad works in the bank. 

Aside from me stalking Ivy, the other vampires also watch the wolves. I got my information from them. 

Ivy serves my food, and when I am through eating, I pay and leave. 

I wait for Ivy in my car to talk to her, when her and her friends come out, I call her attention and tell her to get in, which she does. 

“What do you want?” she asks impatiently. 

“Lo–” I try saying, before she cuts me off. 

She leans in closer, and our faces are inches apart “Mr Damon”She starts, calling me by surname okay “whatever you're trying to do by following me, and telling people at school we’re friends stop it. Our kind don't associate, and I don't like you. So, this is going to be the first and the last time I tell you this. Leave me alone.” she gets out of the car not looking back once. 

I'm obviously going to do the opposite of all she just said. She's going to fall for me.
