Locked

I groan, opening my eyes, and stand up, rubbing my head. I look around realizing I'm

in a cell.

- Really? I save the girl, bring her back to her pack and what I get in return is my

head bashed in, knocked unconscious and locked up, seriously!- I shout with irony from

the cell door. I lean on the door when I feel a little dizzy from the blow. - you're

going to pay for this- I growl putting my hands on my head, pissed off. I see one of

the guys from the group that fought with the vampires appear. He opens the door and

I don't take long to pounce on him, I punch him in the jaw and run but I don't get far

as I run into the rest of the group. I snort as I notice how the blond is approaching,

rubbing his jaw.

We leave the dungeons and walk to the Alpha's mansion. We enter and stand in the living

room. The living room turns out to be very cozy, white walls a little grayish, the

furniture is dark wood and blends in nicely with the rest of the room.

Some portraits hang on the walls and figures of wolves are distributed around it.

Moments later I see two men enter, a woman and Annabeth. I easily spot the Alpha.

- Thank you for saving my daughter- his thick voice echoes through the place and I

am shocked, Annabeth is his daughter!

- You should have saved her, shouldn't you? Aren't you the most powerful pack of all?

And what a reward, getting hit in the head and locked up, what luck, right?- I speak

sarcastically, everyone is between amazed and angry at how I have spoken to the Alpha

of Alphas but I don't care at all.

- What's your name? the woman's soft voice makes me focus on her, she smiles at me

kindly.

- Persephone- some people look at me astonished at my answer.

- We've heard about you, I'd like you to be part of the royal squadron- I turn my

attention to the Alpha.

- Jason let me think about it, you are welcome, come, you are staying here today- she

says as Jason stares at me waiting for an answer.

- No need ma'am, a hybrid is banished as they are described as a mistake of nature,

they feel threatened- I notice how the Alpha's jaw tenses.

- We know you are a hybrid, and you will not be banished or imprisoned- he explains.

-I will think about it- is the only thing I answer, the woman smiles and approaches

me with Annabeth.

- I'll show you your room, let's go- she smiles and we leave the room and then start

walking up the stairs to the rooms.

We stop in front of a white door.

- This will be your room for as long as you like, in two hours dinner will be

served- she smiles and both leave me alone in front of the white door.

I open it revealing a large white room with a double bed, a desk, a mirror and

two doors. I open the first door leading to a bathroom and the second door is a closet.

I see my bag on top of the bed so I go straight to it where I grab some clothes. I get

into the shower realizing that it is already equipped with everything I need. I take

a leisurely shower enjoying the hot water. Once I finish my relaxing shower I lie down

on my bed looking at the ceiling.

- Dinner is about to be served- Annabeth's head peeks in the door after tapping on it.

I nod, get up, leave the room and walk to the living room.-Do you like your room?-she

asks as we walk down the stairs, I nod in response. Once in the living room I see the

table set with the boys and the woman sitting at it as they begin to serve the food.

I sit down and watch the food being served to me.

- I'm sorry the Alpha couldn't make it to dinner, he's busy with pack business- his

soft voice fills the room.

- I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, I'm Laila- I smile and nod.

- I'm Darrell- speaks the brunette with honey eyes.

- Kilian- I look at the green-eyed brunette who nods in greeting.

- I'm Max- another brunette speaks as he picks up a lot of food with his fork.

- Sean- the blond I hit in the dungeon waves at me with a hand gesture as he chews

with his mouth open, Laila makes a disgusted gesture. The blond boy, who I now see

has lilac eyes smiles.

- I'm William- he nods, looking at me.

- I'm sorry I couldn't come sooner- the Alpha appears and sits down as the silverware

is placed and dinner is served.

- Any news?- asks Sean with his mouth full, Kilian, who is next to him, gives him

a slap.

- Mason will arrive next week, the meeting with Moonlight went well, tomorrow he will

leave for the Dark Moon pack- he explains. Some nod smiling and others celebrate.

I spend the dinner in silence, I only talk when they ask me something. I thank Aracely,

the cook and let's say nanny forthe dinner and I go up to my room after saying

goodnight. I put on a pair of shorts and a short sleeve sweater and then Ilie down on

that comfortable bed.

A noise makes me jump out of bed attentively. I approach the window where I see a

bloodsucker on a tree branch. Itsmiles showing its fangs full of blood, I look to the

ground seeing a guard full of blood. I open the window and jump out,landing on my feet.

I run towards the tree but the vampire comes down from the tree and starts running

trying to get away. I grab his shirt and pull it back pulling him to the ground for a

few moments. He starts running towards me as I getin his way. I kick him but get a

hook. I shake my head as he gets up and go into attack mode. In one leap I

transform letting Irina out. I sink my teeth into his leg and then rip it off listening

to his scream of pain, I smile wickedly. He tries tograb me by the ribs but I quickly

pull away leaving him crouching. I quickly bring my teeth to his neck and squeeze

untilthe head falls decapitated a meter away from me. I let go of the limp body

watching it fall to the ground, I gnash my teeth and transform. I shake my hands and

walk towards the mansion. I see Kilian standing there watching the scene. Iwalk past

him leaving him alone. I go up to my room and decide to sleep a little longer.
