Heavenly Demon Kim Min deftly deflected the blow of the staff and redirected the powerful energy that Master Subhuti wielded to the side, levelling that part of the maze and exposing the wide expanse. His eyes remained on Master Subhuti as energy gathered within his hands. This energy was rapidly transferred to his blade, and the red aura that coated it grew thicker. With a powerful swing Master Subhuti was once again besieged by a sword light, and it was much more powerful than what Kim Min had used before.

“I mustn’t take this head on,” Master Subhuti furrowed his brows and made a decision. He gently turned to the side and pushed himself away from the piercing sword aura that broke apart the winds and opened up new craters in the ground.

“Did he really create all these techniques by himself?” Master Subhuti wondered.

“If he did, then he is indeed a genius; even if he’s walking down the wrong path.”
