Chapter Twenty-Two

Cameron was hiding from phoenix the next day at school. She had missed English and Spanish class which she had together with her friend. Phoenix was going to scold her for getting drunk the other day. She had avoided her in school yesterday and was going to avoid her in school again.

The last thing Cameron wanted to talk about was that day with George. It was going well until Liam showed up. George noticed her sudden change in attitude and even though he didn't talk about it after he dropped her off at the apartment. Cameron had in mind that he was sad.

George hasn't called, that was unlike him and that got her worried for a while. But Cameron understood perfectly, he needed some space to get over what happened that night at the restaurant and she was going to give it to him. Hurting George was out of the question. Cameron wasn't a cruel person, even though Liam had hurt her, she never wanted to hurt another person.
