Chapter Thirty

By 5pm, everyone was gone from the office and so Liam had to leave as well. It was the holidays so he had to tell his workers to go home and stay with their families. Like Lisa, some of them had dates to attend and someone to share this special day with someone but he had none. Liam has never had anyone around for holidays.

Kim would invite him to join them at home but Liam would turn down his request, he would prefer to stay alone with Rosa than to be anywhere else. Rosa would always sit in the old armchair staring at the fireplace and sipping her hot coffee. His house was boring and plain during the holidays but Rosa wouldn't dare say a word to him. She knew what the holidays meant for him and so she stayed silent reminiscing about life in the pack during her youthful age.

Rosa was cooking in the kitchen when Liam arrived, he wasn't himself. The conversation with Kim had got him thinking about Cameron a lot and he just wanted to see her.
