FREYA’S POV

The fall was a dreadful one but thanks to Remy, I was able to come back to the palace with my skull intact.

The staring competition between us was cut short by one of the figurines that shattered right at his feet and he slowly let me down from his arms after letting out a soft cough.

“That must have been terrifying” he mumbled and I nodded sheepishly as I returned to my seat with immediate effect

Breaking the ice of silence that came after, he teased “You lost interest in games now?” and his lips curved into a smile

I released a slight chuckle as I sprang up once again. “Not today” I responded with the same joking tone and he motioned for me to come closer, which I did without hesitation.

He led me to the shooting booth where we competed against each other crazily but he was always winning and that was getting on my nerves. I am the female, Princess and newbie so why was he going that hard when he didn’t have to.
