PRINCE BAIN’S POV

I actually never had any problem with Remy ever since we were kids but I didn’t like the fact that he was always pretending around me. Remy was a genius no one could compete with and that was okay. The fact that I was the Prince doesn’t mean I should be the best at everything but he got the wrong idea and started pretending around me.

He gave me multiple chances to win whenever we played games, he would pretend not to understand a teaching until I grasp it on my own end. Even in sword and fist training, he would always pretend to be weak.

I spent so many years thinking I was so much better and would even brag about it in his face not knowing that he was just letting me have my way. I was on my way to his house that very day when I walked into him and his father discussing.

“Why do you keep pretending? It’s not a sin to be good” the father was scolding him sternly
