68. I AM ME

ANSEL’S POV

I knew it was a death sentence with the step I took to reveal the true identity of Emory to Freya because she wouldn’t want to believe whatever I was saying in the first place and given the history between us, she would probably have my head with the power she wielded now. Yet, I’d be damned eternally if I didn’t do my part, it was left to her to believe and take heed to my warnings.

Never in my life have I been subjected to so much pain. The man that tortured me had the intention of killing me and it was obvious in his eyes portraying his raging emotions. All my body was aching badly and I couldn’t even stand or sit properly without wincing. It was terrible.

I had fainted after trying to explain over and over before Jun took over because he knew Freya would at least listen to him. She was the first friend he made after coming out and she had helped him come out without the fear of getting criticized.

Thankfully, she was able to digest the information and worked towards it
