It was Nathan!

Noelle cried silently as she went back to her house.

" Poor Nathan," She sob as she walk through the passage that led to the room he's locked up.

He has been locked up in a room like a beast so he doesn't attack anyone.

She stopped at the door, holding back her tears before she went in. She went inside and saw him looking at the window, like he was going to break it,

Nathan growled at her as soon as she entered the room. She burst into more tears seeing her brother who adores her a lot does not recognise her anymore.

"I'm sorry, I tried talking to her but she still does not want you. I'm so sorry, this is all I can do for you Nathan." She cried.

She ran out of the room into her bedroom. She fell on the bed soaking the sheets with her tears. If only she could find someone else for her brother, he won't become a rogue forever. This was her wish before falling asleep.

Casey went to check on Riella after Noelle left. She found Riella sitting on the bed in her room and staring into space. Casey felt annoyed that Riella could just leave that desperate girl just like that.

"How could you do this to her? You should at least have said something to calm her down, she was crying for help!" Casey scolded but got no reply.

Casey pulled a chair in front of Riella, "Look, I know how you feel right now but you have to move on. You owe him this at least, you should do something to help him even if you don't want to be with him."

Riella sighed, "I did not leave because I don't want to help them. I only left because I didn't know what to do. She wants me to help her brother, I don't know how I am supposed to do that. If she at least tells me something, then maybe I can."

"Well... I've read a lot of books and watched a lot of movies the humans made about us. I do find something interesting, I think you can just talk him out of it. Make him come back to his senses." She suggested.

"It is not that easy. I think it's much better I don't get involved with them. I am better off on my own." Riella stubbornly disagrees.

Casey could not convince her so she left the room. Riella cried herself to sleep hoping she wouldn't have to see anyone the next day. Jokes on her because Noelle came again.

Noelle was agitated to see that Riella still refused to come after she went there the next day to check on her. She was not trying to pressure Riella, she just wanted her brother to get better.

"What exactly do you want from me? I thought you understood my answer before?" Riella asked Noelle.

Noelle shook her head, "I am a very desperate bitch. You can think what you want but I cannot let you go. You have to help me."

"Will you leave me alone if I am able to help your brother this once? And he won't bother me again?"

"Yes! Please just help him... But why don't you like my brother? What's wrong with him? I am very sure you have been looking for your own mate too for a long time." Noelle asked not understanding the deep hatred for her brother.

"It is personal. But your brother... He's just too weak and an emotional nut job. I can't deal with it. I hope he doesn't come around me." Riella made sure she sounded as harsh possible.

It would make her uncomfortable to be around him.

"Fine. I'll do what you want." Noelle said, hurt by the fact that Riella was insulting her brother.

"I'll try coming in a few days. You must keep your promise..."

A FEW DAYS LATER

As soon as the day break, Noelle dressed up and drove straight to the huge mansion where he lived. She opened her mouth in awe, even werewolves have this much riches. The workers took her to the living room where she was told to wait for Noelle.

Noelle was awoken by the sound of the door. She stirred awake, slowly rubbing her eyes. She realized that she was still wearing last night's clothes. She did not shower, eat or change.

Of course, it's due to how worried she was. The consistent knocking on the door made her go open it herself and the maid almost fell on her.

"What is the matter? Why are you knocking so much?" Noelle asked coldly.

"My lady, there's someone here to see you." The maid replied.

"Who? Isn't it too early for anyone to ask of me.."

"She said her name is Riella, and you invited her a few days ago."

As soon as she heard the name, Noelle dashed out of the room to confirm if it's true. She got surprised to see Riella that happy tears came into her eyes as soon as Riella smiled at her.

"You came." Noelle exclaimed excitedly.

Riella nodded, knowing how much her presence means to Noelle. She would have done the same if she had a brother.

She could have tried to prevent her father's death if she knew what he did. This is why she's still uncomfortable with them.

"Where is he?"

"He's in... In a room. Come with me, I'll show you where he is."

Just then, someone came in the private living room. It was a guard panting hard, he looked like he saw a ghost.

"What's wrong?" Noelle asked him.

"Alpha Stefan and his men are on their way, I think someone told them about Alpha Nathan. What do we do?" The color drained off Noelle's face hearing that.

Riella was confused. Who is Stefan and why are they scared of him?

"Stefan is the step brother who must never take my brother's place." Noelle turned to Riella, "Do you think you can bring him back to his senses soon enough? Please?"

"I'll try." Riella said, feeling pressured.

"Take her to see my brother, I'll stall Stefan for a while to buy time." Noelle ordered the guard.

The guard took Riella to the room where Nathan is, and Noelle went outside to confront her older step brother. Stefan looked much better, and he looked ready to take over the place.

"Hello little sister." Stefan smirked.

"What are you doing here? This is my brother's home not a place where you can barge in whenever you want." Noelle replied rudely.

He scoffed, "You might want to respect me. I could be your leader tomorrow."

"Yeah keep dreaming." Noelle mocked.

"Where is he? I want to see your brother now."

"He is busy! And who are you to demand things?."

"Then I will assume everything I heard about him is true, he's no longer fit to be the pack leader right?"

Noelle couldn't say anything. She wondered if Riella was able to do anything.

"You'll only take his place over my dead body! My brother is fine! I don't know where you get that stupid idea from that he's not."

"Then prove it." Stefan mocked, "See? You have no proof! You should bow to me now!"

"Why should she do that Stefan?" They heard a familiar voice ask from behind.
