Alphas POV

It's tiring. This monotone tempo of my routine is making me tired.

I immediately put my bag on the table then sat on the sofa right beside it. My head is now slumped on the edge of sofa, keeping my stare in the ceiling.

Everyday is tiring  but, at some point of my tiredness, I always come to a decision to just sit up straight, get my stuff and work.

At the back of my head, I dont want to rest at all.

I'm just really, hungry for more. Hungry for things I want to have.

When did this start anyway? I bluntly ask myself.

Well it mostly started when I was young. When I learned the pleasure of winning and standing above everyone else. I feel like a king. I feel like I own everything. I feel like everyone is asking for my approval and I really loved that kind feeling.

"But you know, you cannot be a King." One kid said. "A King is a boy, youre a Queen because youre a girl?"

Something clicked in my mind the moment he said that. Me? Not worthy to be a king? I dont think so. Everyone knows I am a King figure. Regardless of my gender, I am the best and I rule everyone else.

"Besides, just as any movies, a King is usually chosen and loved by the people. And, I dont think you fit in any of that rule."

I just kept silent as he went on.

"I believe, the true King in our class is Kai. I mean, he is the best in everything and he is also loved by everybody."

Well, I couldnt stay quiet.

The next thing I knew, he was already crying and both his hands are touching his now swollen face. Everyone else looked at me and consolling him.

Later on, I was sent to the principals office.

"Again Alpha? Thats 2 this week." The principal said.

I only bowed then answered.

"Sorry, Dad."

Dad sighed.

He then took his phone and mumbled something on the speaker. It took about 3 minutes then he hang up.

" Your mother and I will take care of it. For now, go home and rest. You may go out now."

So I did go out. Flung the door open and close it again. I stood there for quiet some time.

He didn't even ask me what was the cause of everything. He immediately sided with the kid he didnt know instead of me. Both him and mother always act that way.

I hate that memory.

Speaking of my parents, a message from them just came to my phone.

'Come home next week.'

I put my phone back in the table and continued admiring the ceiling. I know what they will talk about. Regardless if my presence is needed or not, it doesnt matter. They will find a way to solve things without even trying to make contact with me.

*****************************************************

Morning, 8:00 am.

I just had a terrible night and to add to that, this day just completed my nightmare.

The rest of the class were busy with their group work. For some reason Trixy was absent and Im stuck with Mr. All so Knowing as a pair.

How did this happen? Teachers prank.

She knows everyone wants to be a pair with him and seeing Im the least interested, she just paired us together.

"Is this destiny?" He bluntly asked, now making that smile again.

Not his face. So early and this is the person I get to spend the rest of my whole period

"So, being popular with girls actually turned you into 'that kind of person'." I spoke back.

His smile disappeared.

"Cant take a joke?"

"You know I dont. So better stop."

He just stared at me.

And i think the whole room just froze. They werent looking, they were minding their own work but their attention is focused towards us.

Its reslly obvious. I feel like my hair at the back are just standing up from their stares.

I couldnt take it.

I stood up.

"If I find anybody looking at us for the whole duration of our class, pray I wont catch you."

Eveyone was stoned silent. No movement. No murmurs.

But then, a sudden grasp in my wrist landed. It took me by surprise and as I look, its Kai.

Now he is making his move.

"Stop..." he only spoke.

He is stutterring.

He is making his best to even stop me. He is scared.

"You know you are not exempted. Im not in the mood to play your goody two shoes game. Let go of me or I will break your arm."

He continued staring at me. No emotions whatsoever. His hands are steady as well. He is not budging at all.

"You havent changed a bit..." he spoke.

"Nobody asked your opinion." I answered.

"But I'm free to say what I want."

This bastard!  He just know exactly the words that makes me mad and coming from his mouth is what make things worst.

I feel like my whole body is boiling. I want to release this madness.

But Kai knew my intentions.

He tightened his grip in my wrist and pulled me towards him. But my right hand was quick enough to block his body.

I adjusted my right foot and landed a quick kick in his lower body. I thought it was enough to loosen his grip but its not.

His pretty damn strong!

In an instant, I felt like my switches flipped on. I cant be intimidated. Not by him!

I gathered my strength in my leg and kicked his stomach causing his grip to cut loose.

I was sure that kick was strong but somehow, the only thing he got was a mild, pat in his stomach and a grin of pain in his face.

And for some reason, I saw a slight weird smile in his face as I kicked him.

That smile is pissing me off.

Its like a mockery. My strength to him is nothing. He is not wavered.

So this is what a king is suppose to be? Unwavered in the face of his personal enemy?

I walked towards him, took him by his collar and grabbed him. His eyes are now focused on me.

A slight sting in my mouth as I spoke,

"I hate you..."

Then in my full strength, I swung my right knuckle to his face but he was fast enough to receive it with his left palm, easily covering my whole knuckle with his left hand.

With confidence, he answered back

"I hate you too..."

Before I could even retort, the door suddenly flung open, revealing a now breathing heavily teacher, looking at us.

I immediately loosen my grip.

"I cant believe this. Two of the smartest kids in school are fighting for I dont know what... What is wrong with the two of you!" The only thing she spoke.

Out of nowhere, Kai spoke.

"Sorry maam I provoked her. I got a little cocky and acted on a whim. Im sorry"

The teacher sighed.

"Please, dont give me a headache. I cant afford it right now. For now, resume all your work outside the classroom. As for you two, consider yourself warned and immediately proceed to the disciplinary room, right now."
