AUTHOR’S POV

It was finally time.

Lily thought as she smiled at the beautiful reflection of herself in the mirror.

She loved him so much and she was glad that at last she would get to spend forever with him.

“It’s time, my love. Time to finally start your own family.” Mr Patrick said as he fixated his eyes on her with his palms placed on her tensed shoulders.

“I’m nervous, Father.” She said truthfully. “Did you feel this way too? I mean with Mom?” She asked out of curiosity even though she knew what the answer would be because every one knew for sure that her Father always loved her Mother even till the point of death.

“Of course, darling.” He responded and let out an heartwarming soft laugh as his mind flooded with the memories of the past. The best thing of his life.

Only that every day with Jane was the best day of his life.

“Would you find it weird if I told you that I pooped my pant just minutes before the aisle walk?” He paused to laugh some more, his eyes filled with warmth a

AUTHOR’S POV She sat there, staring at them as they did her thing while anger surged through her because she despised Lily. She hated that she had to get everything good and had things at her disposal. She couldn’t bear seeing the smile that Lily had on because it only made her stomach clench the more.Deep down she knew she had to do it. She had to wipe off the smile she had on so she did it, raising her voice as she made her way to the front.“Stop the wedding.” She said again, this time her voice louder as she watched everyone turn their heads her way to check if she really meant it.“What are you doing, Beatrice?” She heard Patrick, her husband, say as he made his way towards her to pull her off the stage. She knew what he was about to do but she refused to let him. She refused to let them both lie to this innocent Male just like they had done all these while.“Don’t do anything stupid.” Patrick warned sternly as he sent her a hard glare then grabbed her arm.“Leave me, Patrick.

ELEANOR’S POV I stared at my stomach as I placed my left palm over it because I was starting to get so fond of my baby and I could feel the connection we shared. His presence made me feel alive again and I was so glad that he was mine.Maybe Cruz’s as well but I chose not to dwell on that. Damon had told me to stay away from anything that makes me sad and ensured to remind me to be happy. He had turned out to be a way better big brother that I thought he would be. This was the fifth basket of fruits that he had brought to me in a space of two weeks and the act softened my heart. Although every time I tried to tease him and call him caring, he would remind that he was only doing that because Nana would scold us both and also force me to use more bitter herbs.“Do I really have to take that?” I asked, bringing up my eyes to look at her. I could tell that she had gotten more wrinkles than before.I watched her raise her brows at me.“You ask me that every time even though the response

CRUZ’S POV I was a coward. A big one because I couldn’t even bring myself to drive off the cliff. For an unknown reason, I felt like I had to stay alive, I just had to. I didn’t want to think about how El would feel if she ever heard that I tried killing myself. She always told me I was strong and right now I believed her.I think I’m falling in love with you.Her words reverberated in my head causing me to drag in a shaky breathe.A part of me wished that I had responded and told her how I felt but it was late now. Too late to make amends.Reviving the car engine, I stirred the wheel sideway as I turned towards the road and continued my ride home.Different thoughts ran through my mind consuming every bit of it and I could only come to one conclusion and that was that Lily had to go.Driving into the compound, I parked in a safe place then headed inside, directly to my room. The house felt empty and that meant that they were yet home. I went directly into my room and threw myself o

AUTHOR’S POV Lily let another tears flow down her swollen cheeks as her eyes aches terribly. She still couldn’t believe that her best day had turned into a nightmare. It had been a day already and she hasn’t seen Cruz since then because she couldn’t bring herself to face him. She couldn’t stand to see the sadness his eyes held even though she felt sorry.“You can’t keep doing this to yourself.” She heard her Father say but she paid him no audience because whatever happened was his fault. He had told her to keep it to herself, told her that he would never accept her for what she was.Half werewolf and half witch. Her late Mother was a witch and somehow they had decided her future even before she could have a say in it.“Lily, you need to brace yourself and face him.” He informed, his right palm on her shoulder while her face remained buried in the pillow she held between her legs. Her Father had informed her that he canceled the wedding and wanted nothing to do with her anymore.“I ca

The air got warmer, and I felt a sense of peace surround me.“Open your eyes, Havinah.” I heard Mother say, and I gradually did as told.My eyes took in the bea

I couldn’t bring myself to say anything because for a weird reason, I felt shy. Not uncomfortable. My body, up to my breasts, hit the warm water and I felt my nerves relax.“Let me know when you feel uncomfortable, okay?” He said and I nodded briefly.
