Charlene had been staring blankly at the notes that Adhler gave her earlier. It was not a task she would have her thoughts flying had this been a different patient she was looking at. This is no ordinary patient for Charlene. This one is a subject she would never take lightly.

She flipped through the pages and did not even notice the sun ray until it was on her lap. Charlene glanced at the window, ‘It’s finally the day I had been waiting for,’ she thought.

With no sleep, no food in her stomach, and no unnecessary thoughts in her head, Charlene left the room. She’s going to go to the east wing. Charlene had visited the laboratory before she retired to the room so she would not waste any time today getting lost in the academy.

When she reached the place, Charlene furrowed her brows when she saw Weiss standing by the door. “Weiss?” Charlene’s voice is a little hoarse, but Weiss is able to recognize it right away. He looked at her and put his hands inside his pockets.
