Author’s POV Something physiological happens when bare feet touch sand, when eyes rest on water and when lungs breathe sea air. The environment becomes blissful and makes you feel the peace resting between the waves of sea. It’s late evening, Seagulls were soaring through the air and swooping down to land atop a sand dune. The clouds were a dark silhouette with bright gold beams of light radiating through. The waves had made a soothing crashing noise as if they were trying to soothe a soul. The gentle rhythmic motion of the waves satisfied the eyes of Ryan, who had been zoning out in between the absence of words between him and jenny. Ryan’s thoughts were suddenly interrupted by Jenny's loud moan that made him look at her being straddled all of sudden. “ ohhh…..this is heavenly “ moaned Jenny closing her eyes as she licked the velvety smooth chocolate flavoured ice cream. The taste of it was incredible that she couldn’t stop expressing how it feels going through her throat, making
Author’s POV It wasn’t freddy. It wasn’t Freddy but his own hallucination. Due to the past mental stress and exhaustion his mind was filled with the thought of freddy coming back into his life and running everything he has now. And eventually that evening he ended up being tricked by his mind which played him well. Jenny was hospitalised for three days since there wasn’t heavy blood loss; she thankfully wasn’t in critical condition yet the scar on her forehead was fresh, and needed doctors attention on it for three constant days. The whole three days Ryan didn’t dare to look into her eyes, he was ashamed. He took care of her, he fed her, he helped in changing her clothes but not even for once he looked up and gathered his courage to look into her eyes, not even when she asked him to. Jenny wasn’t angry at him but worried for him. The silence between them was already making her imagine worse things coming up on their way and Ryan’s distance with her made it even more difficul
Author’s POV Gulping the drop of Balkan 176 Vodka jenny hissed instantly when the liquid travelled through burning her throat. The strongest kind of alcohol was causing her some uncomfortable inflammation in throat, it was making her aggressive and fearful at the same time and yet she chose to pick another shot and gulped it without giving any break. She wanted to forget everything around her, she wanted to get lose somewhere where she can’t remember anything, and anyone. But it won’t be possible when she is in her sane mind, therefore she decides to get drunk until she passes out and falls into unconsciousness so that she will stop thinking about him, over and over again. She became a mess, neither side of the truth was relieving the pain she is going through. her eyes start watering when she starts thinking about memories with him and the times when he actually made her feel that this is the best time of her life, he made her feel she can be happy in life, again. she wants th
Ryan’s POV “ damn…..stop drinking…” I groaned in frustration and instantly regretted saying that watching her face lose the smile she had a second ago and now, tears pulled in the corner of her eyes as if she would cry any moment. Her eyebrows knitted together while her soft eyes looked at me as her lips pouted adorably, and she said “ but, this is the only thing which makes me forget about him….. My heart squeezed knowing how difficult all this was for her to deal with. She has nothing to do with my past and traumas and yet, she is the one suffering here more than me. And I'm the one to be blamed for her turmoil. I made her walk out of the marriage we wanted to work, and live together happily. I gave her so much to hope and build her beliefs on this relationship and at the end, i asked her to leave. I did not only break her heart but the woman she was proud of being. The woman, who believed in me and stood behind me in case I ever stumbled so that she could hold me, helped me
Author’s POV “ You know who’s my husband ? “ Jenny’s eyes were all fixed on Ryan who was driving impatiently, because he wanted to reach home as soon as possible as every second being with her was making him want her more. He doesn’t know if it’s because he’s seeing her after two whole weeks or it’s because she’s drunk and probably isn’t in her senses at all and she randomly sings or yells then laughs like there’s no tomorrow, that makes him keep looking at her risking both of their lives. He needs to focus on driving but she was the reason that he shouldn’t focus on the road but on her. Clutching the steering wheel tight he tried to look ahead but his mind begged him to take a look at her, and he did. She leaned on the car door as her eyes were still on him, waiting for him to answer. Her skin was bare, no trace of makeup. The pale skin and those little red bumps of pimples around her cheeks and forehead reflected the stress she is carrying. Those dark, sunken eyes could tell tho
Ryan’s POV The clock struck at 1:53 AM, the room was so silent that even the sound of winds entering inside the room through the window could be audible. Lights were off, thankfully otherwise it would have been more awkward for me. Thinking about the fact that, all these while she knew that it’s me and yet she was playing around and i like an idiot, kept going along with her makes me feel embarrassing now. “ I had to pretend to get these few hours with you otherwise you would have dropped me to my home, and left without looking back…..wouldn’t you ?” her question seemed right, if she was in her senses and had not pretend like she didn;t knew me i would have definitely got rid of her as soon as possible, because each second i spend with her makes me yearn for more time with her which isn’t resistable at all. “ See, now even you can’t answer…..because you don’t have an answer….not for this….not for any of my questions Ryan “ she looked deep into my eyes, with those tear shading e
Author’s POV Jenny couldn’t believe what she heard, she turned numb for a few seconds and it took some time to sync what he said. She couldn’t ask any questions, as if she forgot how to form a word. With her eyes wide open and staring at him for what she couldn’t figure out but he did, as he continued to speak. “ Freddy, was a colleague who became a friend of my father….” he slowly began, with his eyes turning glossy. “ Freddy was somewhat the same age as my father and I used to address him as Uncle,.....i’ve seen him few times with my father……he had no family…..he was bachelor …despite of being in his late forties…..he never dated any woman…and when peoples would ask him way he would say he loves being alone, and enjoys his own company….it was weird..but peoples believed him…because apart from staying alone nothing about him seemed suspicious to peoples….he was fine living his life alone…..yet I didn't share much bond with him as I would hardly speak to anyone those days. F
Ryan’s POV I could feel my heart beat rising as soon as my eyes fell on Freddy who was seated on the couch, with his legs placed on the table in front of him. His both hands spreaded wide on the couch handles as he looked back at me tilting his head. “ hi Ryan, wassup ?” he smiled nonchalantly. I asked “ why are you here again ?” scanning the room in a snap second i made sure that i have access to the door and any other things that i pick quickly and hit him with in self defence if incase he tries to harm me. Even though I was expecting some sort of apology from him for the thing he tried to do last time, I couldn’t trust him blindly. He smirked “ well, i thought you know why i’m here “ “ Huh ? you’re here to say sorry….aren’t you ?” And he let out a loud laugh as if he was laughing at me. I shrugged and tried to calculate the distance between me and the main door so that if he does anything this time I can run out of the house. He creeps me out, that i have to think
