Ryan’s POV

“ damn…..stop drinking…” I groaned in frustration and instantly regretted saying that watching her face lose the smile she had a second ago and now, tears pulled in the corner of her eyes as if she would cry any moment.

Her eyebrows knitted together while her soft eyes looked at me as her lips pouted adorably, and she said “ but, this is the only thing which makes me forget about him…..

My heart squeezed knowing how difficult all this was for her to deal with. She has nothing to do with my past and traumas and yet, she is the one suffering here more than me. And I'm the one to be blamed for her turmoil.

I made her walk out of the marriage we wanted to work, and live together happily. I gave her so much to hope and build her beliefs on this relationship and at the end, i asked her to leave.

I did not only break her heart but the woman she was proud of being. The woman, who believed in me and stood behind me in case I ever stumbled so that she could hold me, helped me
