I got to the restaurant about fifteen minutes earlier than usually.

I finally got an interview to a better job. It had been months since I started looking but I only landed one today.

The interview was in a week.

When I was done changing my clothes, I went out to the restaurant.

It was a Saturday which means we were going to be extra busy today. It was also going to be a long day for me because I had offered to cover for a co-worker's shift so I was staying lated today. She said her mom was sick or something and I needed any extra money I could get so it didn't take a lot of convincing for me to take the shift.
