“I still have your daughter with me.” A single statement from Jaxon ruined my defense.

The wind gradually died down, and everything returned to normal. He laughed smugly as if he had gotten what he wanted.

“I can still control you even though you’re dead. If you don’t want anything to happen to your daughter, you’d better behave yourself. Stop playing tricks. You died because you were petty. You can’t put the blame on anyone else. Do you understand?”

Then, he regained his confidence and got up to escape the smelly basement.

He walked away and sped back to Rebecca. The expression on his face appeared more pleasant when he saw her.

Rebecca immediately threw herself into his arms. “Why are you back alone? Where’s Ria? Didn’t she come with you?”

Jaxon wore a strange expression when she mentioned me.

He still seemed to feel some lingering fear and hatred. In the end, he gritted his teeth and explained, “She’s just a wicked woman. Ignore her. I’ll punish her properly.”
