Once we reached Dásos tou Phōtós, which meant Forest of Light, Lysandros was a lot more confident in his directions. He projected confidence, and everyone else would have believed him, but I had known him for a long time. He had been worried, and not just about the border breach.

Lysandros was correct; it took us about an hour to meet up with the warriors. The clearing they were guarding was where we were to have ported initially. I noticed that there were two warriors on the ground by a tree, and they looked like they were asleep. The rest were spread out around the clearing.
