Rosalie's POV
"You're fired!" my boss bellowed, and all I could think about was escaping the chaos in my mind. Blood streamed from his head, a sight that sent chills down my spine. Yet, what truly terrified me was the realization that I was the one responsible for it. A smirk crept onto my face as I masked my true feelings with a facade of confidence. I was aware that he could have pressed charges against me, but I knew he wouldn’t dare; he had just attempted to make an inappropriate advance toward me. "Good, because I’m done with your fucking job!" I shouted as I stormed out of his office. I could feel my colleagues' gazes on me, but I didn’t care; I just wanted to get out of the building. A bruise on the side of my lip throbbed from the slap I had received for refusing to comply with him. I should have seen the signs all along; I could have known this was coming. There were times when I caught him looking at me inappropriately, and he often made sexual advances. At the time, I brushed it off as nothing to worry about, but now it all makes sense. I got into my car and decided to drive home as quickly as possible. I cried for a few minutes before grabbing my phone to call my best friend. If I hadn’t grabbed that picture frame and hit him over the head with it, he probably would have gotten his way with me. "Athena..." I whispered my best friend's name softly as soon as she picked up the phone. She must have been surprised to hear from me at this hour; I never called her at this time. "Hey, Rose..." Athena replied cheerfully, but her tone shifted to concern when she sensed my somber mood. "Rose, what’s wrong? Are you okay?" she asked, worry evident in her voice. "My... He..." I stammered, tears spilling as I struggled to find the words. "What? My what? He? Is it your boss?" Athena asked, her voice filled with concern. Without saying a word, my loud sob provided her with the answer. "Rose, what did he do to you? Please tell me it’s not what I think!" "He tried to take advantage of me," I replied, my voice trembling. "That bastard! Where are you, Rose?" Athena demanded, fury evident in her tone. "I'm at the office," I said. "What! What are you still doing in the office? Get out of there right now! What if that jerk tries to come after you?" Athena exclaimed. "I'm not in the office; I'm outside," I replied, and I could hear her exhale in relief. "That's good." "Athena, can you come pick me up? I can't drive; I'm too upset and sad," I said, my voice flat. "Don't worry, Rose. I'll be there in no time," Athena assured me before hanging up. I set my phone down on the seat beside me. I rested my head against the glass window, waiting patiently for Athena. Athena had been my best friend since high school, the only one supporting me while my mother battled illness and my younger brother needed care in his school. Without the money for my mother’s medicine, her life was at risk. They were all I had left. A few minutes later, Athena pulled up in a taxi and knocked on my car window. I unlocked the door, and she climbed in. "Did he do this to you too?" Athena asked, examining my cheeks. I nodded slowly in response. "What?..." Athena gasped, her eyes widening as she moved toward the door. I quickly grabbed her arm. "Where are you going?" I asked urgency in my voice. "What do you think? I'm going to teach that bastard a lesson," she replied, her anger palpable. "Please don’t go," I pleaded, holding onto her hand. She looked at me in shock. "What? Rose, that jerk hurt you! I can't just let that slide. You should have fought back; you're too soft," Athena said, her voice low. "I did fight back. I hit him with a picture frame, and he almost bled to death," I replied, and that made Athena smile. "That's great! I was worried you hadn't done anything. I might just have to go and take care of him myself. That creep and you shouldn't work here again; I know what he's capable of," Athena said. "I've already quit," I replied, and Athena smiled again. She knew him well since my boss was one of her male friends, and she had been the one to help me land the job. "Please, just let me out of here. I'm already unemployed, and all I can do now is reflect on my life. I can't live like this; that job was my everything..." I said, tears streaming down my face. "If I don’t have a job, how will my mother manage? What will Carter eat?" The weight of those thoughts brought fresh tears to my eyes. Athena gently stroked my hair. "No one is going to die. Let’s just go; everything will be fine." I nodded slowly, and we switched seats so she could drive. Throughout the ride, I felt moody despite Athena's attempts to lift my spirits. Nothing she said could break through my sadness; I just couldn’t muster a smile or shift my mood. When we pulled up in front of my house, I was lost in thought until Athena snapped her fingers in front of my face. "Rose, what are you thinking? I told you everything will be fine. That jerk can’t just ruin your mood like this," Athena said. I offered her a faint smile to mask my sadness, but she saw right through it. "That smile isn’t real. Come on, let’s go inside," she said, gently pulling me from the car. Even though Athena had her own job as a waitress at a nightclub, she still came to help me. I glanced at the time and realized it was already 7:30 PM. I can’t sleep; the thought of being unemployed haunts me every time I try to close my eyes. "My shift starts soon," Athena said as she walked over to the mirror to touch up her makeup. I sighed and picked up my phone, scrolling through job listings in search of something suitable. After a few minutes of searching, I still hadn’t found what I was looking for. I tossed my phone onto the bed and began to sob once more, prompting Athena to turn toward me. "Why are you crying again, Rose? You know what? You're coming with me," she said, and I looked up at her. "I can't go with you. I don't want to interrupt your work or make you worry," I replied, even though I desperately needed to get outside to clear my head. The club seemed like the perfect escape; the loud music would drown out my thoughts. "You won't be interrupting me at all. In fact, you'll be helping me put some obnoxious people in their place. You'll be my guardian angel tonight," Athena said, and I couldn't help but chuckle. "Alright, I’ll follow you to clear my head," I said, and Athena nodded with a smile. "Let’s go; I don’t want to be late," she replied, finishing up her makeup. I got up from the bed, grabbed my phone and a small bag, and headed out with her. ____ We arrived at the club right at 8 o'clock. I found a seat and settled in, letting Athena take care of her work, and I didn't want to disturb her. I began scrolling through my phone as the loud music pulsed in the dimly lit club, and suddenly, I felt an urgency to pee. I stood up, still focused on my phone, and made my way to the restroom, unaware that I had entered the men's restroom. As soon as I stepped inside, I started to relieve myself, but just as I was about to pull up my panties, the door swung open, and someone walked in. My phone slipped from my hand in shock and embarrassment—it wasn’t just anyone; it was a man, and he had seen everything. He didn’t take his eyes off me as I hurriedly pulled on my panties and jeans. "Are you out of your mind? How dare you enter the women's restroom and keep staring at me while I’m naked? Don’t you have any decency?" I shouted at him, my voice echoing. "Are you blind?" he retorted, and I glared at him. "You're the one who's blind, for goodness sake. You just walked into the women's restroom!" I shot back, furious. "This is the men's restroom and—" "Even so, you should have looked away when you saw me jerk! Now my phone is broken, and you still expect an apology? Well, you’re not getting one!" I shouted angrily as I picked my phone up from the floor. I noticed the surprised look on his face, but I didn’t care. As I walked past him, I made sure to step on his foot and then bumped into him with my shoulder and he didn’t even flinch. I returned to my seat and attempted to turn my phone back on, but it wouldn’t respond—the screen was shattered. "Can today get any worse? Now I have to buy a new phone," I sighed, sinking back into the chair. I opened my eyes again to find the figure who had seen me naked earlier in front of me. The club's dim lighting hid his face, but I could feel my hatred for him rising, my blood boiling with anger.Cameron's POV"Please, put the gun down! Don't shoot!" My voice reverberates through the living room as I attempt to stop my father's gang. The air is thick with tear gas, making it impossible to see anything. They found her in the house, she was pregnant. My life flashed before my eyes when I heard the gunshot, followed by the roar of a vehicle speeding away."No, no," I cried, rushing to Maya's side. Blood was seeping from her stomach, and my tears flowed freely as I saw her lying in a pool of cold blood. Time seemed to freeze, and I felt my own blood trickle as I cradled Maya's lifeless body in my arms. A chilling breeze brushed against the back of my neck and ears, like a cold finger, and suddenly, my world plunged into an unnatural darkness, as if all the light had vanished, just as Maya took her last breath in my embrace.A surge of anger welled up within me as I grabbed the gun from the ground, ready to pursue them. But I was halted when I felt a firm grip on my wrist—Jack h
Rosalie's POVI slumped on the couch in the living room, feeling utterly defeated; I failed the job interview I went for earlier, and It had been a long day, and exhaustion weighed heavily on me as Athena walked in through the door."Hey, baby! I'm back!" she exclaimed cheerfully, rushing over to wrap me in a warm hug.I was taken aback as she finally pulled away. "I have some great news for you, Rose!"My heart lifted at her words. "Really? What is it?" I asked, a smile spreading across my face, eager to hear what she had to share."I finally found you a job!" Athena exclaimed, her face beaming with excitement, and my eyes widened in surprise."Are you serious?" I asked, a wave of happiness washing over me as she nodded enthusiastically."Oh my goodness! What kind of job is it?" I asked eagerly."There’s a vacancy at our club, and you’d be working as a stripper," Athena revealed, and my expression instantly darkened as I stood up from the couch."What do you mean, Athena? What kind o
Cameron's POV "Shoot him" I commanded, my voice devoid of emotion as I stared at the traitor before me, blood seeping from every wound on his body. I felt no sympathy; all I wanted was for him to die—now."Please, boss, have mercy! Just give me one more chance, and I swear I won't betray you again," he begged, his voice trembling. He was bound to a chair, just like last time, but now his fingers and toes were all cut-off. He was alive, yet his soul was utterly gone."You want another chance? But you betrayed me in the first place, and I don't offer second chances. You should have thought about the consequences before acting," I said coldly."I'm sorry," the man pleaded, his voice trembling. "My daughter was sick, and I need money for her medicine. I never intended to steal from you." Tears mingled with the blood on his face as he spoke."That's an unacceptable excuse. If you needed money, you could have asked me, but instead, you chose to steal my goods and sell them to my rival. How
Rosalie's POV I slowly walked out of the VIP room, still in shock. Can I really quit because of this man? I don’t want to work with him. It’s obvious we don’t like each other, and it would be a problem for me to work under him. I can’t see him as anything but a bastard pervert, and my pride won’t allow me to call him my boss."I need to talk to Athena about this. I can't work like this. I'm sure I can find another job, even if it means being a waitress. I didn't want to do it before, but I would now. I don't mind...""I just can't stand working with that fool; his presence irritates me," I mumbled as I entered the main club, scanning the room for Athena. But I couldn't see her anywhere. "I think she's still busy working. I shouldn't disturb her with my problems, I guess...""I should just leave. Athena can tell that bastard pervert in the morning that I'm no longer interested in the job," I mumbled to myself, nodding in confirmation. As I started to walk out, the club felt too crowde
Cameron's POVNext day___I stepped out of my chamber with a smile on my face, unable to shake the memories of last night. The innocent look on her face is something I can't get out of my head easily.I noticed how she was rubbing her thighs together; it was clear she was feeling horny as well last night. When I released her last night, I could see her juice on the chair where she sat."I can't wait to take that innocent look off her face and teach her a lesson for disrespecting me in my own way," I mumbled, a proud smile spreading across my lips.As I made my way downstairs, I found all my gang members waiting for me."Good morning, boss," they greeted, their heads bowed in respect, before Jack stepped closer to my side."Have you located our target for tonight?" I asked Jack quietly."Yes, boss. He plans to travel tonight at eight o'clock, but I've already tracked his every move," Jack replied, and I nodded in satisfaction.I turned back to the gang members. "I need ten of you to ac
Rosalie's POV The sound of a door creaking woke me up, and I yawned loudly before slowly opening my eyes.My eyes widened when my vision cleared, revealing that I wasn't in my room. I turned to the door and saw Cameron standing there."What the heck am I doing here?" I mumbled in surprise as Cameron began walking closer to me, a smile on his face."Don't come any closer! What did you do to me?" I yelled, jumping out of bed. I remembered seeing a killer last night before passing out, but..."How did I end up here?" I thought."Do you remember what happened last night?" Cameron asked, though he was curious to know if she had seen his face last night but he didn't let his curiosity show on his face."What happened? Is it what I'm thinking?" I wondered, feeling a surge of fear as I checked myself out. Thankfully, my clothes were still on.“D... did you... sleep with me?” I asked, fear evident on my face, but Cameron just scoffed.“You think highly of yourself? Who do you think you are, t
Students were seen walking around the school, all looking classy and affluent. It was clear that this was a school for the wealthy, and any poor student who managed to secure a scholarship often faced relentless bullying until they either left the school or, in some cases, were committed suicide.Crestwood High School, the largest school in the country, was notorious for the way its rich students treated the poor one.And there was Carter, who entered the school on a scholarship because Rosalie couldn't afford to pay the full tuition. Since he arrived, he had never known a moment of peace.Every day was a struggle for him, and not a single day went by without facing bullying. He felt powerless to change his situation. He sat alone on a bench in the schoolyard, reading the book in his hands slowly. With his striking looks, he was undeniably the most handsome boy in school, which only fueled the jealousy of others, leading them to bully him every day."There he is!" he heard a voice tha
"What happened to her?" Cameron asked as soon as he reached Athena."I don't know, but her scream— it means Rose is in trouble," Athena mumbled, her face etched with worry and fear."Damn it!" Cameron exclaimed, snatching the phone from Athena."Hello?!" he shouted, but there was no response. Just as he was about to hang up, he suddenly heard a sinister laugh creeping through the line."Who are you? What are you doing to her?" Cameron asked, desperation lacing his voice as if he wanted to reach through the phone and snap the man's neck."You don't need to know what I'm going to do with my daughter," the man replied, his tone chilling. "I've been observing you. Are you sure you're her boss, or something else?" He erupted into a creepy laugh, causing Athena's eyes to widen in shock."Rosalie's father? Rose doesn't have a father; he died when she was just seven years old," Athena said, tears streaming down her face as she worried for her friend.Cameron turned to Athena, disbelief etched
Rosalie's POV "What the heck! You really want to shoot me, your best friend? Wow, you're still actually a heartless bastard. I guess I'm wrong for thinking you've changed because of her," Maverick said with a hint of mockery in his voice, standing still in his spot with a smile on his face."You're wrong," Cameron suddenly said, pulling his gun down. Both Maverick and I gazed at him curiously.Did he want to admit that I had changed him? I couldn't help the happiness inside my heart as I waited for him to speak again."She did actually change me. Don't be deceived – I only changed for her, and no one else. I'm still a monster to other people, so you're obviously wrong," Cameron said, staring at Maverick's expression with a smirk.I couldn't help but blush, and I had to turn around to hide my red cheeks, which had become ridiculously red! "Oh, I see, glad you're not denying, lover boy," Maverick said with a knowing smile. Cameron scoffed."You're speaking as if you're not heartless as
Rosalie's POV "Cameron, please slow down! You're hurting me!" I screamed again, but he had already lost control.I understood that it was the aphrodisiac bullet that had affected him, making it impossible for him to rein himself in. I knew Cameron would never intentionally hurt me; he was just struggling to regain control. Deep down, I believed he was looking for a way to stop, but he simply couldn't.I had promised myself that I wouldn't scream or ask him to stop, even if it hurt, but the pain had become unbearable. I couldn't hold back my cries any longer, especially as blood rushed down from my vagina, marking the end of my virginity and purity. While a part of me felt a strange happiness that my virginity was finally lost to Cameron, that fleeting joy was quickly overshadowed by another wave of pain as his hard thrusts continued for the fourth time."Cameron!" I screamed again, and that's when he suddenly pulled out of me, both of us breathing heavily as I turned to face him, my
Rosalie's POV As soon as Cameron spoke, my eyes widened in shock. He wanted to sleep with me, despite being the one who had hesitated to touch me because of my wound. Could my thoughts be right? He looked aroused since the moment he entered the room."How... how will... sex ease your pain?" I stuttered, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over me. I didn't understand why I felt shy; I thought my shyness had faded away by now.Cameron chuckled softly. "If you want to know how it’ll ease my pain, then let me make love to you. Or do you want me to stay in pain? Isn’t that going to make you feel bad?" He said this with a mischievous smile, clearly trying to change my mind."It's not that I don't want you..." I struggled to finish that sentence before I found myself speaking again."But what about my wound that you always care about?" I asked, unsure why I was even questioning it. This was what I had always wanted, and now I could feel my body heating up from his naughty words."I won't
Rosalie's POV Immediately I heard Cameron's voice behind me, and I turned around, standing up with a confused and shocked expression on my face.Could it really be a coincidence that Cameron's old girlfriend shares the same name as my sister? Not to mention, he used my sister's exact birthdate as the passcode for his safe locker, and both my sister and his ex-girlfriend are dead.I don't think those three events can be mere coincidences; there's definitely something fishy going on, and I need to get answers from Cameron right now.Cameron started walking closer to me, his expression soft yet slightly angry. I couldn't help but wonder what could possibly make him angry if there was nothing suspicious about the safe locker."I'm asking you what you were doing there," Cameron mumbled again, still approaching me. His voice was soft, but his expression told a different story.I began to back away until my back hit the wall, leaving me with nowhere to go."Why is my kitten being a little
Rosalie's POV "Ouch! Ohhhh, my lord! Please, fuck me harder!" Moans echoed from the kitchen, and I couldn't help but feel disgusted. It was obvious that the stranger, who called himself Maverick, was with the woman in the kitchen, whom he referred to as his "bitch." Their screams were already grating on my nerves. How can they not feel even a hint of shame as they can go into the bedroom to do whatever nonsense they're doing? Maverick knows I'm in this house, and he must realize how uncomfortable it is for me, yet he still went ahead and fucked that woman in the kitchen."If he's truly Cameron's best friend, then I don't think I can stand being in the same house with him. He's already so annoying," I mumbled, my voice laced with irritation."Cameron should hurry up; they're making this house a mess today, and it's driving me crazy. I think my meal is in the kitchen, but I can't go in there because of the unholy stuff they're doing," I mumbled, frustration evident on my face."Maybe I
Cameron's POV I rushed into the clan house as soon as I got out of the car. Today is the day—I’m going to end everything, and then I’ll confront the Godfather.I’m supposed to be living here with the gang members because of a case like this, but I can’t because of Rosalie. I just wanted us to be living alone, like I do, even though it’s the same house where Maya and I lived before she died, I’ve tried to keep my mind off that fact and have managed to live peacefully with Rosalie. As soon as I entered the training room, I found everyone there, including Jack. I nodded, impressed by how prepared they all were."Good, now let's get going. Remember everything I told you," I reminded them, addressing the group of twenty-five. Everything needed to go perfectly, especially since I knew Salvatore would have many guards and members."Yes, Boss," they all chorused, bowing in unison."I'll lead them outside," Jack said, and I nodded in agreement."Let's go," Jack said, leading the way while the
Rosalie's POV I was both surprised and scared when I saw a man behind me, leaving me confused about what was happening. What were they doing here? How did they get here? With Cameron already gone, did they come to hurt me? These questions raced through my mind. But if they were here to harm me, why would the lady in the kitchen be cooking? Despite that thought, I couldn't shake the fear that gripped me."I'm asking you, who are you?" I yelled again, struggling to keep my fear in check. I could feel it threatening to betray me at any moment, especially if these people turned out to be who I feared they were. The man wore a smile that annoyed me, though I couldn't quite understand why. When he refused to speak, I picked up a flower vase from the table and turned to face him. Despite the threatening look on my face and the vase in my hands, his expression remained unchanged."If you're here to hurt me again, you're mistaken this time—I'm not giving you a chance," I said, gripping the fl
Rosalie's POV Cameron started walking closer to me as soon as I asked the question. When he stopped in front of me, looking straight into my eyes, I couldn't understand why he was doing this. All I wanted was an answer. Did he think he could use his charm to make me stop asking? I needed to pull myself together; I wouldn't let that work. I was determined to get an answer from him tonight."Why do you sound suspicious of me?" Cameron suddenly asked after looking at me for a few seconds. His question made me wonder why I was seeking answers to my own questions. It's not like I'm his girlfriend who should know everything about him, yet that's exactly how I'm acting right now. I don't think I'm in a position to ask him those questions.Even though I know Cameron isn't weak but rather incredibly powerful, I sometimes wonder if it's the nightclub that has made him this way or if there's something else. However, as I think about it now, I realize I shouldn't dwell on it, especially since I
Carter's POV It was already night, and after ensuring that Gabriella was no longer sad after having fun together—I settled down with her in the living room to watch TV. I had managed to convince her to stay, reassuring her that Athena didn't mean any harm, even though I was unsure of what was troubling my big sister.Athena hadn't even come out of her room since returning from work, which made me worry that something was definitely wrong with her.I shook the thought of Athena from my mind and continued watching TV. We were watching a horror movie, as it was Gabriella's recommendation. I couldn't help but wonder how Gabriella could watch a horror movie without flinching—she was surprising me right now.She said she didn't like romance movies because they were too cringeworthy, but I knew that once she realized her feelings for me and confessed her love, she'd be drawn to them. I could already picture us sharing those romantic moments together, and a smile escaped my lips at the thoug
