Cameron's POV
Next day___ I stepped out of my chamber with a smile on my face, unable to shake the memories of last night. The innocent look on her face is something I can't get out of my head easily. I noticed how she was rubbing her thighs together; it was clear she was feeling horny as well last night. When I released her last night, I could see her juice on the chair where she sat. "I can't wait to take that innocent look off her face and teach her a lesson for disrespecting me in my own way," I mumbled, a proud smile spreading across my lips. As I made my way downstairs, I found all my gang members waiting for me. "Good morning, boss," they greeted, their heads bowed in respect, before Jack stepped closer to my side. "Have you located our target for tonight?" I asked Jack quietly. "Yes, boss. He plans to travel tonight at eight o'clock, but I've already tracked his every move," Jack replied, and I nodded in satisfaction. I turned back to the gang members. "I need ten of you to accompany me on a mission tonight, and Brandon and Harper will join us as usual," I ordered. "Yes, boss," they replied, bowing their heads. Harper was the one who brought Rosalie to my chamber yesterday; she was the strongest female member of the gang, while Brandon held the title of the strongest male. I selected eight more members, and everything was in place as I began making my way outside, with Jack closely following behind. These days, many people have been offending and disobeying me, and I need to teach them a lesson and... It's because they all want to uncover the identity of the person behind this successful clan, but I can't let them know until I achieve my goals. My target for tonight knows too much about me and is currently trying to uncover my identity. That makes him a threat that needs to be dealt with as soon as possible. "Where are we going, boss?" Jack asked as we reached the car parked outside. "We're heading to the cemetery," I replied. Jack understood immediately. I slid into the back seat while Jack took his place in the front with the driver, but... Throughout the ride, she was the only one occupying my thoughts. I couldn't bring myself to stop, even though I wanted to; her innocent face was driving me wild. "She's only driving me crazy. Maya is the one who can truly capture my heart. What I feel for her is just lust," I thought, as a smile crept across my face while I considered all the possible ways to wipe that innocent look from her face. "We're here, boss," Jack announced as the car came to a halt, pulling me out of my thoughts. "You can wait; I'll go in myself," I said. "Yes, boss," they responded. I stepped out of the car and made my way into the cemetery. "Good morning, sir," the staff greeted me as I passed, but I maintained a straight face as I walked toward Maya's grave with flowers in my hand. When I got there, I placed the flower on her grave and knelt beside it. "Today marks five years since you and our unborn child left me," I murmured with a sad smile. "As always, no one can take your place in my heart, nor that of our baby." "Just like every year, I'm here to seek your forgiveness, as I always do..." "I'm sorry for everything you’ve gone through because of me, and I'm sorry to our unborn baby, you both ended up here because of me," I said, my voice heavy with emotion. "Today marks another year since I promised to take revenge for you and our unborn child, and I will always cherish you in my heart." I continued to gaze at her picture on the grave, a deep sadness etched on my face. Determined not to leave until nightfall, I resolved to spend the rest of the day with them. So she and my baby won’t feel lonely in heaven. I continued to gaze at her innocent, smiling face until I sensed someone watching me from behind. I quickly turned around, but there was no one there, leaving me with a surprised expression. "I'm sure someone is watching me," I thought. ___ Night had finally fallen, and four cars came to a stop at the target's house. I stepped out of the first car, having arrived alone with Jack in a separate car. With everything meticulously planned by the clan, five members leaped over the fence and swiftly took down the two guards at the gate before opening it from the inside. As I entered the compound with the rest of the members, a wicked smile spread across my face at the sight of more guards rushing toward us. "This is what I like the most; it's going to be spicy tonight," I mumbled, adjusting my mask before taking down the first man who charged at me. I wore a mask to keep my identity hidden for now. The fight had been going on for more than twenty minutes, but more guards kept pouring in. "That bastard is really prepared for this; he knew this day would come. But I won’t let him escape. I might take him down today," I thought with a scoff, continuing to take down the guards. Almost fifty guards had been taken down, and they were unable to harm any of my members, despite their strength. My members, however, were well-trained, and it wouldn’t be easy to take any of them down. Amid the chaos, I spotted my target attempting to escape through a hidden exit in the compound, but I caught sight of him just in time. A smirk crept across my lips. "That's perfect; you've made it easy for me to finish you," I said with a sinister tone before going after him, leaving the guards in the capable hands of my members. He dashed outside the compound, heading for a car. But as he saw me closing in, he hesitated, knowing I would catch him if he tried to get inside. He continued to run down the quiet road, and I pursued him relentlessly. I could have used my gun on him, but I wanted him to see me before he took his last breath. Instead, I decided to use a different trick and suddenly vanished from the road. The man turned around when he realized no one was pursuing him anymore. "Oh my Goodness! That monster! I’ll make sure I find out who you are and expose you to the other Mafia bosses. After that, I can die peacefully," he said, breathing heavily. "It'll never happen," I said suddenly from behind him, causing him to turn around in fear. "You... you... how can..." he stuttered, and I grinned. "So you're actually scared of me, yet you still dared to try to find out who I am after all the warnings I've given you?" "I'm sorry! I swear, I won't do it again!" he pleaded, tears rolling down his face, though I knew they were fake. "I don't give second chances, but I can grant you one wish: to see my face. Then you can die peacefully." "I'm sorry, please forgive me. I don't want to see your face again, but please let me—" He couldn't finish his sentence as I removed my mask. The moment I took it off, his eyes widened in shock. "Cameron Rodriguez," he mumbled, his mouth agape in disbelief. Only a few people in this country wouldn't recognize me. They know me as the club and stripper boss, not as a mafia leader. "You're surprised? Too bad; you'd be gone right now and wouldn't be able to expose me to other mafia bosses," I said with a wicked smile. "Please, I didn't know it was you! Please..." Before he could finish his plea, I pulled out my gun from my pocket and, without a second thought, shot him twice in the forehead. He collapsed to the ground, lifeless. "Ahhhh!" I heard someone scream from behind me. I quickly put on my mask before turning around to face the last person I expected to see. Rosalie stood frozen in place with a frightening look on her face. "Did she see my face, or is she just scared because of the man I killed?" I couldn't help but wonder. She remained frozen in place, her fear palpable. As I began to walk toward her, she finally started to retreat. "Please don't kill me! I swear I won't tell anyone! I've erased everything from my memory as if I never saw anything in the first place. Please!" she pleaded, tears streaming down her from her eyes. I scoffed softly. "So she’s this soft yet had the audacity to insult me like a brave girl." I moved closer to her in silence, but suddenly, Rosalie's eyes began to close, and before I knew it, she passed out.Rosalie's POV The sound of a door creaking woke me up, and I yawned loudly before slowly opening my eyes.My eyes widened when my vision cleared, revealing that I wasn't in my room. I turned to the door and saw Cameron standing there."What the heck am I doing here?" I mumbled in surprise as Cameron began walking closer to me, a smile on his face."Don't come any closer! What did you do to me?" I yelled, jumping out of bed. I remembered seeing a killer last night before passing out, but..."How did I end up here?" I thought."Do you remember what happened last night?" Cameron asked, though he was curious to know if she had seen his face last night but he didn't let his curiosity show on his face."What happened? Is it what I'm thinking?" I wondered, feeling a surge of fear as I checked myself out. Thankfully, my clothes were still on.“D... did you... sleep with me?” I asked, fear evident on my face, but Cameron just scoffed.“You think highly of yourself? Who do you think you are, t
Students were seen walking around the school, all looking classy and affluent. It was clear that this was a school for the wealthy, and any poor student who managed to secure a scholarship often faced relentless bullying until they either left the school or, in some cases, were committed suicide.Crestwood High School, the largest school in the country, was notorious for the way its rich students treated the poor one.And there was Carter, who entered the school on a scholarship because Rosalie couldn't afford to pay the full tuition. Since he arrived, he had never known a moment of peace.Every day was a struggle for him, and not a single day went by without facing bullying. He felt powerless to change his situation. He sat alone on a bench in the schoolyard, reading the book in his hands slowly. With his striking looks, he was undeniably the most handsome boy in school, which only fueled the jealousy of others, leading them to bully him every day."There he is!" he heard a voice tha
"What happened to her?" Cameron asked as soon as he reached Athena."I don't know, but her scream— it means Rose is in trouble," Athena mumbled, her face etched with worry and fear."Damn it!" Cameron exclaimed, snatching the phone from Athena."Hello?!" he shouted, but there was no response. Just as he was about to hang up, he suddenly heard a sinister laugh creeping through the line."Who are you? What are you doing to her?" Cameron asked, desperation lacing his voice as if he wanted to reach through the phone and snap the man's neck."You don't need to know what I'm going to do with my daughter," the man replied, his tone chilling. "I've been observing you. Are you sure you're her boss, or something else?" He erupted into a creepy laugh, causing Athena's eyes to widen in shock."Rosalie's father? Rose doesn't have a father; he died when she was just seven years old," Athena said, tears streaming down her face as she worried for her friend.Cameron turned to Athena, disbelief etched
Cameron sprinted toward the house, but as he reached the door and flung it open, a wave of flames surged out, knocking him back to the ground."Shit!" he muttered, wincing as he pushed himself up despite the pain in his back. He quickly realized that he couldn't enter through the door; the fire had completely engulfed it.Cameron began searching for another way into the house, but after walking around it, he found no doors or windows to enter.Suddenly, he was reminded of how Maya had died, and how he had felt powerless to save her until her last breath."No, I won't let her die. I must save her," Cameron mumbled, turning to head back to the door once more, but...He suddenly noticed a small hole in the wall and quickly moved closer to peek inside.Cameron's eyes widened in shock as he saw Rosalie tied to a chair in the middle of the room, unconscious after having screamed for help. The fire was rapidly approaching her."Thank goodness, at least the fire hasn't reached her. I need to
"I'm not telling you this because I'm scared of you, but I really want you to know that Rosalie is my daughter," the man said."They thought I was dead seven years ago, but I'm not," he continued, and Cameron recalled Athena mentioning something similar before—that Rosalie's father had died seven years ago."Is that all you know?" Cameron asked, struggling to believe it, yet it seemed the man was telling the truth."Of course, I know more," the man replied with a grin."Rosalie's mother fell ill after our eldest daughter died, and that's when the family fell apart—everything was ruined for them," he continued."Rosalie has an older sister who died? What was her name, and why are you still alive?" Cameron asked, curiosity evident on his face."That's when I might start to believe you a little," Cameron added, but the man merely scoffed."You think I'm going to tell you? You've heard enough, and I won't say anything else—except that my family deserves to die by my hand," the man replied
Rosalie woke up with a loud yawn, having spent the night in the hospital after talking and crying to Rebecca as if she could hear what she was saying.Having dozed off in the chair with her head resting on Rebecca's bed throughout the night, Rosalie was gazing at Rebecca's face when the door opened and a nurse walked in."Good morning, miss," the nurse greeted. Rosalie responded with a nod."I think you should rest as well; you look tired," the nurse said, concern etched on her face as she looked at Rosalie."I don't want to leave my mother. I should stay with her since I have nothing else to do," Rosalie mumbled, her voice weak."You don't need to worry about your mother. We'll take care of her as always, and we'll let you know as soon as she wakes up from the coma," the nurse reassured her. Rosalie hesitated for a moment before finally standing up from the chair."Okay, I'll leave, but please keep an eye on her," Rosalie said, and the nurse nodded before moving closer to Rebecca to
"Is he crazy? What kind of contract is this?" Rosalie mumbled before moving on to the next line."You'll start the training as soon as you move in with me.""You will no longer be a stripper for my customers..." it stated in the contract, and Rosalie hadn't read any further when she exhaled in relief."Thank goodness, I won't have to strip anymore. But how will I pay him back?" Rosalie mumbled, feeling confused as she began to read the rest of the contract."You'll be stripping exclusively for me." Rosalie's eyes widened in shock as she read that."What the hell is this?!" she gasped."Am I really expected to take off my clothes in front of him? No..." Rosalie shook her head vehemently."No, I can't do that. I can't live with him and also strip for him; my dignity would be ruined."Rosalie moved on to the next words. "Apart from paying your debt, you'll also be receiving a salary from me," she read and that caught her interest as her eyes moved to the signature."I've already signed i
"What the hell are you doing?" Rosalie asked, her expression a mix of surprise and disbelief. She had walked into the living room to find Cameron shirtless, and he was in the process of removing his trousers."What does it look like I'm doing?" Cameron replied, pulling down his trousers. Rosalie's eyes widened in shock, but then she noticed he was wearing shorts underneath."Thank goodness! I thought he was about to strip completely in front of me..." Rosalie exhaled, relief washing over her."But what the hell? Why did he still take off his clothes in the living room?" Rosalie thought, giving Cameron a bewildered look."If you're done staring, follow me," Cameron mumbled, turning to walk away slowly. Rosalie was left speechless."What? Why should I follow you? Even though I accepted stripping for you but it wouldn't be right now!" Rosalie exclaimed, and Cameron paused in his tracks, a smirk spreading across his face."Even if I asked you to start stripping for me right now, you can't
Rosalie's POV As soon as Cameron spoke, my eyes widened in shock. He wanted to sleep with me, despite being the one who had hesitated to touch me because of my wound. Could my thoughts be right? He looked aroused since the moment he entered the room."How... how will... sex ease your pain?" I stuttered, feeling a wave of embarrassment wash over me. I didn't understand why I felt shy; I thought my shyness had faded away by now.Cameron chuckled softly. "If you want to know how it’ll ease my pain, then let me make love to you. Or do you want me to stay in pain? Isn’t that going to make you feel bad?" He said this with a mischievous smile, clearly trying to change my mind."It's not that I don't want you..." I struggled to finish that sentence before I found myself speaking again."But what about my wound that you always care about?" I asked, unsure why I was even questioning it. This was what I had always wanted, and now I could feel my body heating up from his naughty words."I won't
Rosalie's POV Immediately I heard Cameron's voice behind me, and I turned around, standing up with a confused and shocked expression on my face.Could it really be a coincidence that Cameron's old girlfriend shares the same name as my sister? Not to mention, he used my sister's exact birthdate as the passcode for his safe locker, and both my sister and his ex-girlfriend are dead.I don't think those three events can be mere coincidences; there's definitely something fishy going on, and I need to get answers from Cameron right now.Cameron started walking closer to me, his expression soft yet slightly angry. I couldn't help but wonder what could possibly make him angry if there was nothing suspicious about the safe locker."I'm asking you what you were doing there," Cameron mumbled again, still approaching me. His voice was soft, but his expression told a different story.I began to back away until my back hit the wall, leaving me with nowhere to go."Why is my kitten being a little
Rosalie's POV "Ouch! Ohhhh, my lord! Please, fuck me harder!" Moans echoed from the kitchen, and I couldn't help but feel disgusted. It was obvious that the stranger, who called himself Maverick, was with the woman in the kitchen, whom he referred to as his "bitch." Their screams were already grating on my nerves. How can they not feel even a hint of shame as they can go into the bedroom to do whatever nonsense they're doing? Maverick knows I'm in this house, and he must realize how uncomfortable it is for me, yet he still went ahead and fucked that woman in the kitchen."If he's truly Cameron's best friend, then I don't think I can stand being in the same house with him. He's already so annoying," I mumbled, my voice laced with irritation."Cameron should hurry up; they're making this house a mess today, and it's driving me crazy. I think my meal is in the kitchen, but I can't go in there because of the unholy stuff they're doing," I mumbled, frustration evident on my face."Maybe I
Cameron's POV I rushed into the clan house as soon as I got out of the car. Today is the day—I’m going to end everything, and then I’ll confront the Godfather.I’m supposed to be living here with the gang members because of a case like this, but I can’t because of Rosalie. I just wanted us to be living alone, like I do, even though it’s the same house where Maya and I lived before she died, I’ve tried to keep my mind off that fact and have managed to live peacefully with Rosalie. As soon as I entered the training room, I found everyone there, including Jack. I nodded, impressed by how prepared they all were."Good, now let's get going. Remember everything I told you," I reminded them, addressing the group of twenty-five. Everything needed to go perfectly, especially since I knew Salvatore would have many guards and members."Yes, Boss," they all chorused, bowing in unison."I'll lead them outside," Jack said, and I nodded in agreement."Let's go," Jack said, leading the way while the
Rosalie's POV I was both surprised and scared when I saw a man behind me, leaving me confused about what was happening. What were they doing here? How did they get here? With Cameron already gone, did they come to hurt me? These questions raced through my mind. But if they were here to harm me, why would the lady in the kitchen be cooking? Despite that thought, I couldn't shake the fear that gripped me."I'm asking you, who are you?" I yelled again, struggling to keep my fear in check. I could feel it threatening to betray me at any moment, especially if these people turned out to be who I feared they were. The man wore a smile that annoyed me, though I couldn't quite understand why. When he refused to speak, I picked up a flower vase from the table and turned to face him. Despite the threatening look on my face and the vase in my hands, his expression remained unchanged."If you're here to hurt me again, you're mistaken this time—I'm not giving you a chance," I said, gripping the fl
Rosalie's POV Cameron started walking closer to me as soon as I asked the question. When he stopped in front of me, looking straight into my eyes, I couldn't understand why he was doing this. All I wanted was an answer. Did he think he could use his charm to make me stop asking? I needed to pull myself together; I wouldn't let that work. I was determined to get an answer from him tonight."Why do you sound suspicious of me?" Cameron suddenly asked after looking at me for a few seconds. His question made me wonder why I was seeking answers to my own questions. It's not like I'm his girlfriend who should know everything about him, yet that's exactly how I'm acting right now. I don't think I'm in a position to ask him those questions.Even though I know Cameron isn't weak but rather incredibly powerful, I sometimes wonder if it's the nightclub that has made him this way or if there's something else. However, as I think about it now, I realize I shouldn't dwell on it, especially since I
Carter's POV It was already night, and after ensuring that Gabriella was no longer sad after having fun together—I settled down with her in the living room to watch TV. I had managed to convince her to stay, reassuring her that Athena didn't mean any harm, even though I was unsure of what was troubling my big sister.Athena hadn't even come out of her room since returning from work, which made me worry that something was definitely wrong with her.I shook the thought of Athena from my mind and continued watching TV. We were watching a horror movie, as it was Gabriella's recommendation. I couldn't help but wonder how Gabriella could watch a horror movie without flinching—she was surprising me right now.She said she didn't like romance movies because they were too cringeworthy, but I knew that once she realized her feelings for me and confessed her love, she'd be drawn to them. I could already picture us sharing those romantic moments together, and a smile escaped my lips at the thoug
Cameron's POV"Is Rosalie's expression right now a joke? I believe in my food and I'm proud of it, even though I haven't tasted it yet. I know it will taste as good as it did before.'Are you kidding? Are you really making that face because you think my food is tasteless?' I asked, incredulous.Rosalie didn't stop laughing, and I had to intervene to avoid hurting her stomach wound.""Could you stop laughing? You might hurt your wound," I said, and Rosalie stared at me in bewilderment as she finally stopped laughing."Who hurts their wounds just from laughing? I can't help but think you're overreacting," Rosalie replied jokingly. But that was exactly what I wanted to hear. I love being overprotective and overreacting when it comes to my girl; it's just part of who I am, and I wouldn't change it for anything.Once someone catches my attention, they should be prepared for it. Maya went through this, and Rosalie won't be any different—if anything, I'll be even more protective and reactive
Rosalie's POV I quietly made my way into the kitchen, careful not to let Cameron notice my slow approach. He was already chopping vegetables, and at that moment, I wished I had my phone to capture the scene. He looked like the perfect boyfriend, even though he wasn't mine.I knew everything we were doing felt like that of a couple, but I didn't mind that he hadn't asked me out. All I wanted was to keep enjoying the sight of his handsome, charming self.I quietly approached Cameron from behind and playfully tickled him. He spun around, inhaling sharply when he realized it was me."Thank goodness! I knew it was you. I was about to stab whoever it was if it had been someone else," he said, exhaling with relief. I couldn't help but chuckle at his words."Why would you think it was someone else when it's just the two of us in this house?" I asked, giving him an incredulous look. He turned back to his task before replying."That's what I was thinking, but anyway, what are you doing here? B
