“What is this?” Kate questioned, tossing the document at me.
The court had set a date for our case. She must be a fool to think I am just going to give up on my inheritance like that and let her enjoy the proceeds after a year.
I sniffed, crossing my legs. “What does it look like? Can’t you read?”
“Mark, when exactly are you going to give up on being petty? Do you not get tired?”
