When they arrived at Diamond Star, Derek and James’s driver were both waiting for them at the entrance of the building. The driver politely opened the door for Laura while Derek had already gone to James’s side, ready to inform him of his itinerary.

“Thank you, Phillip,” Laura said to the man, and Phillip smiled politely in response. She then turned to look at James, who was saying something to his secretary with a serious expression.

“I’ll be going first,” Laura said, and waved at James before going into the office building. She passed by the reception area and waved at the girls there in greeting as she went to the elevators. She stopped at her floor and stepped out of the elevator.

Laura had her own office space in the building that she could decorate however she wanted. This was to make it easier for her and her team to have meetings with each other and even clients if need be. So when she entered the office, she found her assistant and her trainer inside.
