Chapter 92: I Missed You.

When it was time to eat, everyone helped set the table and sat down to have their late lunch. Everyone stared at Laura’s plate in fascination while she stared at theirs with envy.

“Is this enough food?” Rachel asked her as she looked at the salad on Laura’s plate.

“I have to eat like this so I don’t hold on to water. I’ll stop once I finish with the shows,” Laura said as she played with the food on her plate. If she was being honest, she didn’t have much of an appetite, but was only eating to accompany her friends.

“I admire your professionalism,” Nancy said as she shook her head and took a bite of the lasagna that Rachel had made, her eyes narrowing happily.
