Chapter 66: Leaving The Hotel.

The week ended very quickly, and even though Laura had started packing early, she still wasn’t done by the time Friday rolled around. After spending a whole night surrounded by her clothes, which had increased exponentially to the point that her suitcases weren’t enough anymore, she left a message for her assistant to get her two more suitcases and bring them over the next day early in the morning.

When Laura opened the door for Sylvia the next day, she looked extremely tired. Sylvia, who was holding two empty suitcases, suddenly felt the annoyance she had for working on a rest day dissipate.

“You look horrible,” the normally silent Sylvia couldn’t help but say.

“I feel horrible too. I’ve never regretted owning too many clothes like I am today,” Laura said as she let her in and closed the door behind her.

“Do you need any help?” Sylvia asked her, feeling sorry for her.
