Chapter 122

Amanda had gotten to the car park when she saw Camilla rushing into the hospital premises. She stopped at the guard's quarter.

She exchanged words with them before heading into the hospital. She got to Gabriel's ward and found him alone on his bed with teary eyes which got her angry.

"She was here right?" She asked him and walked towards him.

"I thought she was going to stay off. What did she say to you? Why are you crying?" Camilla asked him as she got closer.

She opened her handbag and brought out a scarf. She made use of it to wipe the tears off Gabriel's face but he refused, struggling with her. She got angry and slapped him hard across the cheek.

"I don't care about your condition. I am only here for your money so don't think that I wouldn't discipline you when you misbehave," Camilla barked in anger.

She searched her bag and brought out an injection.

"This!" She said, showing Gabriel the injection.

"This can make you lose your legs and remain bedridden for the rest of your life.
