Chapter 125

Anna dressed up in a nice outfit in preparation for going on the date with Marcus. She had woken up early to do the house chores and also help her aunt with the laundry.

She told her aunt about the date as she decided it was right she knew about it. Her aunt happily approved of it and asked her to go ahead.

She thanked her aunt and walked out of the house. She started heading towards the main road to board a cab when a car stopped in front of her.

The driver behind the wheels removed the dark shades he was putting on which made her recognize him as Marcus.

She smiled happily at him as he opened the car and came down to meet her.

"Why didn't you tell me on the phone that you were done? I would have gladly come to pick you up so you wouldn't be making use of the public transport," Marcus said looking displeased.
