Chapter 4(Slap?)

With the mobile in her hands, she started walking towards the reception area. A group of school students stood with their faculties. She noticed a woman from that group probably 2-3 years older than her walking towards Robert's room.

That woman looked wealthy with all the stuffs she is carrying; she even wore a beautiful dress. If one saw her without the students around, they would think she is one of a business woman and not a teacher. Her hair was bouncing flawlessly with each step she took.

She starred in that direction with an uneasy feeling that suddenly popped in her mind. But she shrugged it off. And started walking towards the area where people would flock around for getting their guides for the tour around the museum.

She saw a group of people and went to the reception area and received the information. She walked to the crowd and cleared her throat making them to acknowledge her presence.

It was another set of teenage boys, they immediately turned towards Lily. Lily looked hot in her black pegged pants with white shirt and her hair in high ponytail leaving the birthmark behind her right ear seen perfectly, her eyes radiated a unique charm, the boys almost drooled at her perfectly curved body and her attractive face.

Lily chuckled at the look of those boys and they smiled at her sheepishly. She started talking to them about the history of the museum and they all followed her like a drugged people, her charm and her beautiful voice attracted them.

Half of the way on their tour they stopped at the cafeteria for refreshments. All those guys in that group started to woo her by buying her drinks and snacks.

She felt suffocated from their flirt talks and she excused herself to go restroom. She entered the restroom and saw the same woman from the reception area applying bright red lipstick. Closer as she looked, she was actually pretty. Lily gave her a smile but that girl looked away sassily.

‘Oohh, it’s pretty obvious most of all the good-looking girls are rude. Why didn’t I think about it and get myself embarrassed. Well, why did this lady go inside Rob room, what must be the need. Hmm it might be about work or does she know him? Without anyone guiding she went directly, right?’ was all the thoughts played in her mind and she went out of the restroom after freshening up.

 There she saw the same woman holding the elbow of Rob who was talking with her happily. Jealousy started to eat her brains with doubt.

Soon after they left the place Lily shrugged the thoughts away, reminding herself not to doubt her boyfriend and started with her work. The group with Lily as guide visited every place and almost entire museum was covered, and Lily brought them to the area where unique statues were placed.

When she was about to open the door of that region, Steve hurried to that area. Seeing his confused look her mind filled with numerous questions. Still, she led the group of boys inside the hall.

She started explaining history of each and every statue, and she never once failed to notice Steve and some staffs talking busily pointing towards a direction.

One of the guys nudged her to explain about a statue that caught his attention, she turned to talk about it to him, and when she looked at the statue she stood puzzled.

“Miss Lily, whose statue is this?” the same guy asked her again, she was confused and doesn’t know how to respond to that question. She stood there scratching her head, Steve saw her with the group of people and went near them.

“Hello guys, Nice to meet you all. I guess you would have enjoyed the museum tour” He asked them with a professional smile. The guys responded nodding their heads. Steve gestured for a staff to come and guide them out.

“Then let’s say it’s the end of the tour and my staff here will guide you out. Feel free to ask them whatever you need” saying he made the staff to take them out which earned a displeased looks from the group but were not taken in account and was led outside.

Till then Lily was not aware of the environment and was totally focused on the statue which was before her. She tried to touch it unconsciously, she almost touched the face of the statue just at that moment Steve shook her which made her to come to her conscious.

“Hey, what happened? You looked like someone who was casted spell” Steve spoke and Lily chuckled hearing that.

“This statue looks new, from where did you get it? Whose statue is this?” Lily started throwing her questions.

“hmm, actually we don’t know anything about this statue, It is found in the morning. It’s like, whoosh.. and ta-da  magically appeared here suddenly” saying he chuckled, Lily rolled her eyes.

“Let’s ask Robert he must have gotten this statue from somewhere” she said and he shrugged his shoulders.

“Yea sure, may be. I already told him briefly. Now I’ll go talk with him to clear up the confusion and I’m closing this place temporarily for maintenance” he said and Lily looked back at the statue, strangely she felt attracted towards the statue as if it was a real person. She went near it and looked in the eyes of the statue for minutes.

“Steve, who might be this person. He is too handsome” she said in a soft voice.

“Ahem… Lily, look at you, you are drooling at a statue” he said wiping the corner of her mouth with his hand-kerchief, she slapped his hands and glared at him to which he laughed.

“Don’t go to Robert alone, I’ll come with you” she said ignoring his laughs.

“hmm can’t stay away from him? I think he must have put you on a spell, I’m telling you again he is not a good person.” He said sighing to which she closed his mouth with her palm and dragged him out of the place.

When they were about to reach Robert’s room, Steve was called by the receptionist for a help. Lily told him to go and assured that she will report about the new statue. She was secretly delighted that Steve can’t accompany and she was happy to see Robert after a full day of not seeing him and she walked towards the room hurriedly.

Without knocking, she pushed the door open and was frozen on the spot. The sound of opening the door startled the people inside the room. Lily rubbed her eyes to confirm that her eyes have betrayed her.

But still she could see Robert and the woman from the morning together, with her straddling his lap and sucking his lips. She was rooted to the place until that woman yelled at her.

“You stupid woman. Can’t you knock before entering your boss’s room.” She yelled at Lily, still siting on his lap. And Robert looked at her without a word.

Lily came to her sense and strode towards them and tried to pull that woman off his lap. But was met with that woman’s slap ending on her cheeks.

“Who the hell are you? Get out of the room or you will be out of your job” she threatened. Lily holding her cheeks, and widened eyes looked at Robert to speak.

Without comforting Lily, he patted that woman to calm down and spoke something on her ears to which she smiled at him lovingly. Then he stood up, took Lily’s hand and walked far away from his room.

They almost reached to the statue area, since it was the only place that was temporarily closed with no people surrounding.
