George was shocked. “But why?”

Tamara shook her head. “I don’t know.”

She told George about Old Mrs. Moore’s condition. George pondered over it for a moment. “Your grandma is getting old. She also misses your mother a lot. Due to the striking resemblance between you and your mother, it is understandable that she may mistakenly identify you as your mother.”

Tamara sobbed but said nothing.

James chose this time to speak up. “Go back with me, Tamara.”

Tamara turned to him. “I want to wait for my grandma’s results first.”

He didn’t like Tamara’s request.

Tamara sucked in a deep breath before turning to George. “Please watch over my grandma, Master. If anything happens to her, you must inform me straight away.”

“Will do,” nodded George.

With that, Tamara helped James toward the lift.

George narrowed his eyes dangerously at James’ retreating figure.
