In the midst of the calmness inside the living room, there was distress in Mr. and Mrs. Smith's faces as they waited patiently for Hunter to call.
“What's going on here? Did something bad happen?” Mr. Wilson asked when he walked into the living room and saw his daughter's worried expression and his son-in-law's deadly gaze.
“That's what we are trying to find out.” Mrs. Smith replied as she looked at her father's concerned face.
“Then why do you guys look so stressed?”
“Because it's about Carmen.”
“Kiddo? What could she have possibly done to have you both trouble? Is this about her fainting? Did you call her to find out if she is okay?”
“I did, Dad. She is fine. At least that's what Dax told me.”
