My ears perked up.

Hannah waved her hand dismissively, “I was there when you spoke to Myra,

“So I’m guessing SHE told you that I wanted her to abort. We clearly need to talk.”

He didn’t want me to abort? There was no way. He was bluffing. Trying to get me out so he could then force me.

“So…you don’t want her to abort?” Hannah questioned, now unsure. Most of the venom had left her voice.

“Yes, Hannah. Now, will you let me see her?”

She crossed her hands over her chest, and glanced back at the house

“I think there’s been a misunderstanding, maybe they should talk.” Damien spoke to Hannah softly. They both turned to the house, forcing me to move from my hiding spot.

I stopped by the entrance, and waited as Pierce’s eyes roamed over my sweater clad body.

“You’ll be having this conversation inside, that way you can’t wack her over the head with a plank and stuff her in your boot.”
