Then Rose got up to join the other side of the fallen wood and made herself comfortable; she then groaned. She touched the place beside her and, after a short glance around in terror, Amelia got in as well.

Rose began, “It is a long story. “One that begins a long time before your birth. We are related to a line of Hybrid in our family. Some have extraordinary talents.”

Her mother had been giving her the whole narrative of persecution and power and of the family gift that had turned into a curse and Amelia was simply enthralled. It was recognized that some of the ancestors could entirely ‘switch off’ both elements; the wolf and the Vampire therefore living regular human lives, and in the process escaped from those who attempted to harm or take advantage of them.
