CHAPTER – 24

David pov

"Why didn’t you let me know you were roaming outside?" I said, my annoyance clear as I parked the car in front of my place. I was seriously frustrated at this point. She just stared at me, not saying a word.

"How do you know I’m here?" she asked, which only made my jaw tighten in irritation. "That’s not what I asked," I replied. Hearing that, she got out of the car and headed straight for the house. I closed my eyes, trying to calm down, but I quickly followed her, slamming my door behind me.

"Don’t fuck with me, Olivia. I’m not in the mood," I warned her. She paused for a moment. "I don’t have an answer for you. I just went to see James," she stammered. I stepped closer, closing the gap between us. "If you want to see him, fine, but not like this—wandering around when I’m not here to look out for you," I said.
