Bk 3, Ch 26: Nate
I came home from the restaurant to find a very sleepy and very annoyed Kimia. She was waiting up for me on the couch, and I use the term waiting up loosely. Her eyes were half open, and she looked like she was mesmerized by the television. Glancing at the screen told me that whatever she had been watching had ended some time ago.
“I thought she’d be back at her sorority tonight.” Jimmy said. I had to smirk. I wasn’t surprised she was still here. I wouldn’t be surprised if she never went back.
I walked over to her, and gently woke her up. “Kimi, love, let's go to bed.”
“Rose fucking quit our sorority so I wouldn’t have to,” she murmured.
