Yves was holding a wine glass and smiled slightly at Maxwell, “Mr. Brooks, I didn’t expect you to choose such an occasion to meet me.”

Maxwell replied with a smile, “It seems that you know that it was me who tried to get in touch with you, Miss Yates.”

Instead of answering immediately, Yves suggested, “Shall we find a place to talk alone?”

Maxwell looked at Sonnet, and she immediately replied, “I saw a few of my friends. I’ll go have a chat with them.”
