Sonnet came back to her senses and turned her head to look at Maxwell with puffy cheeks as he said that Lucas must be better than him. It was clear that he was unhappy.

Her heart softened up and she chuckled lightly.

“What are you laughing at? Do you also think that he has a better temperament than me?” Maxwell became more offended seeing her chuckling.

She replied, “Yeah, he does have a better temperament than you.”
