I wake up, I don’t even know how much later. My body feels like I got hit by a bus. I’m having trouble seeing from the obvious black eye, but I’m at least able to get myself into a seated position up against the wall. I’ve spent a week in my room, healing from Clara’s latest beating. This was by far the worse I have received. Christmas and new year came and went quickly. All of us hanging out like we were always meant to be together. Amy and Mia’s appearance in our lives have proven to make our whole atmosphere brighter. Even my mom and dad smile more with them around.
