Hector's POV

I enter the courtroom with Jason by my side, and the room falls silent. The long seat filled with men arguing stops, their eyes fixed on us.

“Why the silence?” I ask, surveying the room.

“You may continue your discussions,” I say, and still there isn't as much as a murmur from them.

No one dares to speak. I take my seat, Jason standing beside me.

“Proceed,” I order.

One of the lords, Marcus, clears his throat. “Your Majesty, we propose conquering more kingdoms to expand our territory.”

Another lord, Lucas, opposes. “We've been successful in battles, but at what cost? We've lost good soldiers. We should focus on growth, gather supplies, and strengthen our men and werewolf packs.”

“Losses are meant to happen. That is the price of war,” Lord, Marcus speaks. He is one of the leading ranks of the werewolves and a good fighter.

“You talk as if there aren't lives involved, Marcus. We cannot go to battle if all our men are dead!” Lucas speaks firmly.

“We’ll train more,” Marcus

Elsa's POV: “You mean you are also a witch,” I say, pacing around the room. “Yes,” Damon answers and I can see Merida smirk.“What if she is lying? Putting these thoughts in your head?” I ask, glancing at Merida. My mind refusing to accept anything coming from Merida.“Sure, I bet you think I also placed the memory of his mom, which he knew and had forgotten,” Merida says. Her voice annoys me further. I badly want to rip her to shreds; her hands and feet are caged, but it seems her mouth needs to be sealed up. “Yes, I do,” I answer.“Then you're a fool, dear Luna,” Merida says, provoking me some more. Damian intervenes before I can tear her apart. His hands stopped me, and his eyes pleading. “She's telling the truth,” Damian says. “My mother was a cleric witch. One of the high witches of their coven,” I say, turning my gaze to Merida. “So, how does that help us?” I ask.“A whole lot, since Caspian is using dark magic,” Merida inputs, and I roll my eyes. “What?” I ask“You he

Raider is better and I haven't seen him since last night. Why did I have that vision of my plan failing? Could it be that the letter was wrong? Could Merida still be alive? Something isn't right somewhere. I can feel a pull at my life force. Merida never mentioned me feeling hungry every time but it wasn't food. I wanted blood, to destroy everything. Was the price I had to pay for dark magic? Damn that woman. I should have killed her myself.“Guard!” I call out and one of the men rushes into my room. “Lord, Caspian,” he answers. “Did anyone see the witch's body?” I ask, wanting a confirmation.“No, Lord Caspian,” the guard answers. “Then how was her death confirmed?” I ask, watching his reaction. Elsa's POVThe air crackled with the remnants of dark magic, the stench of it clinging to the stone walls of the stronghold. My fur was matted with sweat and blood, my muscles screamed in protest, but a fierce determination burned within me. We had breached the stronghold, broken through the Shadow Council’s defenses, but the fight was far from over. We still had to face the source of their power, their leader.Damien stood beside me, his golden eyes blazing with the same fierce determination that mirrored my own. We exchanged a brief nod, a silent promise to face whatever lay ahead, together. The stronghold’s interior was a labyrinth of dark corridors and crumbling chambers. The air was heavy with the scent of decay and fear. The echoes of the battle still reverberated through the stone walls, a constant reminder of the fight raging around us.We moved cautiously, our senses alert for any sign of danger. • Forgotten Luna   CHAPTER 93

Damien's pov The roar of the battle echoed around me, a chaotic symphony of snarls, howls, and the clash of teeth and claw. My muscles burned, my breath came in ragged gasps, but I couldn’t stop. I had to keep fighting. For Elsa. For Lyra. For our pack. For our future. My task was the most straightforward, yet arguably the most dangerous: a full-frontal assault on the main gates of Eldoria. A diversion, Lyra had called it. A necessary sacrifice to draw the Shadow Council’s forces away from Elsa and her infiltration team. I knew the odds were stacked against us, but I also knew that our survival depended on the success of this distraction.I lunged at a hulking shadow wolf, its eyes glowing with malevolent red light. Its fur bristled with dark magic, making its movements faster, its strikes harder. I ducked under a vicious swipe of its claws, my teeth sinking into its flank. It yelped in pain, but retaliated with a powerful blow that sent me sprawling.I scrambled to my feet,

Elsa's pov The Whispering Falls had become a bustling hub of activity. Packs of all shapes and sizes had answered our call, seeking refuge from the Shadow Council’s tyranny. The air, once filled with the tranquil sound of rushing water, now buzzed with the murmur of voices, the clatter of paws on stone, and the occasional excited yip of a pup.I watched from a high ledge overlooking the falls, a sense of pride swelling in my chest. We had done it. We had united the packs. Damien stood beside me, his gaze sweeping over the assembled wolves, a small smile playing on his lips.“It’s…remarkable,” I breathed, still slightly awestruck by the sheer number of wolves gathered below.Damien nodded. “Lyra was right. Together, we are strong.”But even with our newfound strength, a heavy weight settled in my stomach. Uniting the packs was only the first step. The Shadow Council still posed a formidable threat, and we needed a plan, a strategy to defeat them.“What’s next?” I asked, turning

Elsa's povMy paws ached, every muscle screamed in protest, but I couldn't stop. We had to keep moving. Damien, just ahead of me, glanced back, his golden eyes filled with concern. "Elsa, we need to rest," he said, his voice low and rough.I shook my head, my breath coming in ragged gasps. "Not yet. We have to reach the Whispering Falls before nightfall."The Whispering Falls. Our last hope. Lyra had told us about it, a hidden sanctuary deep within the mountains, a place where the Shadow Council couldn't reach us. It was a long and dangerous journey, but it was our only option. The Shadow Council had regrouped, stronger and more determined than ever. They had driven us from our home, scattered our pack. We were on the run, desperate to find a safe haven. We pushed onward, the forest floor a blur of green and brown. The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth. The silence was broken only by the crunch of leaves beneath our paws and the occasional call of a bird.

The aftermath of the battle was a tapestry of exhaustion and exhilaration. The clearing, once a scene of chaotic violence, now bore the quiet scars of conflict. The scent of blood mingled with the crisp night air, a stark reminder of the price of victory. The pack, though weary and wounded, moved with a newfound sense of purpose. They had stared into the abyss and emerged triumphant.Damien, leaning heavily on his sword, surveyed the scene. Elsa stood beside him, her hand resting on his arm, her presence a silent source of strength. The mysterious woman, her face etched with fatigue, watched the pack with a quiet intensity."We have much to do," Damien said, his voice hoarse. The immediate task was tending to the wounded. Several warriors had sustained serious injuries, and the pack’s healers worked tirelessly, their hands glowing with a soft, healing light. The mysterious woman, whom they now knew as Lyra, approached Damien. “The Shadow Council is scattered, but not defeated

The pack had never felt so vulnerable, and the knowledge that there were more powerful enemies lurking in the shadows weighed heavily on everyone's minds.Damien and Elsa spent their days training the pack warriors, preparing them for the battles to come. They knew that they couldn't afford to be complacent. They had to be ready for anything. One evening, as the sun began to set, a lone figure approached the pack's territory. The warriors were on high alert, their weapons drawn."Who goes there?" Damien called out, his voice booming across the clearing. The figure stopped and raised its hands in a gesture of peace."It's me," the woman said. "I've come to bring you news."Damien and Elsa exchanged a surprised glance. They had not expected to see the woman again so soon."What news?" Damien asked, his voice cautious."I've learned more about the ones who are coming for you," the woman said. "They are called the Shadow Council,

Her eyes narrowed, a flicker of anger crossing her features."He'll pay for what he's done," she muttered under her breath.Turning, she looked towards the mouth of the cave where Damien, Elsa, and Dennis had fled. A faint smile played on her lips."They're safe, for now," she said. "But this is far from over."She raised her staff, and a swirling vortex of energy opened up before her. With a determined stride, she stepped into the vortex and vanished, leaving only a faint echo of her words hanging in the air.Meanwhile, in the Crescent Moon pack...Damien carried Elsa through the forest, her head resting against his chest. Dennis followed close behind, his senses alert for any sign of danger."Are you alright?" Damien asked, his voice filled with concern.Elsa nodded weakly. "I'm just tired," she said.
