Damian’s POV:

A witch. Sent to kill my father. But she fell in love instead.

I feel my world crumbling.

Who am I, really? A half-breed? A product of deceit and love?

I glance at my mother, searching for answers.

But she's lost in thought, oblivious to my presence.

Thorne's words fade into the background as I struggle to process this revelation.

My mother's secrets.

My true identity.

Everything I thought I knew is a lie.

I barely have time to drown myself in denial when I appear at the cottage, and my heart sinks.

No, not this. Anything but this. I would give anything not to relive these moments.

I walk towards the cottage and into it as if something is calling to me.

My mother lies on her bed, pale and weak. She is much thinner and her lips has lost its color.

I recognize the familiar taste of sadness. Something I never wish to feel again but it's in front of me and no matter how much I want it to go away, it remains.

This is the same feeling of pain I had when she died. I don't wa

Damian's POVMy younger self walked alongside Thorne, looking downcast but acting fine. I follow behind, waiting to see if something else arises. Something secret that I must have forgotten. My mother's secrets, hidden for so long now, move about in my head, not giving me a moment to rest. “Damian!” I hear Elsa's voice. I halt my steps, wondering if I am hearing things. I shake my head and continue following Thorne and my younger self when her voice speaks again, this time fierce.“Damian! I need you to wake up! Wake up!” She commands. Her voice pierced my mind, clearing every other thought. “Damian, wake up!” she calls, her voice urgent and insistent.“Elsa,” I call, searching for her, but I can't find her. “Damian!” She yells again, but it isn't the sound of someone seeing me. It's in my head.I look ahead and see them reach a clear distance; the landscape remains the same, and Elsa's voice continues to echo in my mind.“Wake up, Damian!” She yells again in my head, and I hold m

Elsa's POV: “You mean you are also a witch,” I say, pacing around the room. “Yes,” Damon answers and I can see Merida smirk.“What if she is lying? Putting these thoughts in your head?” I ask, glancing at Merida. My mind refusing to accept anything coming from Merida.“Sure, I bet you think I also placed the memory of his mom, which he knew and had forgotten,” Merida says. Her voice annoys me further. I badly want to rip her to shreds; her hands and feet are caged, but it seems her mouth needs to be sealed up. “Yes, I do,” I answer.“Then you're a fool, dear Luna,” Merida says, provoking me some more. Damian intervenes before I can tear her apart. His hands stopped me, and his eyes pleading. “She's telling the truth,” Damian says. “My mother was a cleric witch. One of the high witches of their coven,” I say, turning my gaze to Merida. “So, how does that help us?” I ask.“A whole lot, since Caspian is using dark magic,” Merida inputs, and I roll my eyes. “What?” I ask“You he

I can feel it draining my energy. I am pacing in my room, lost in thinking as I need a new plan. Raider is better and I haven't seen him since last night. Why did I have that vision of my plan failing? Could it be that the letter was wrong? Could Merida still be alive? Something isn't right somewhere. I can feel a pull at my life force. Merida never mentioned me feeling hungry every time but it wasn't food. I wanted blood, to destroy everything. Was the price I had to pay for dark magic? Damn that woman. I should have killed her myself.“Guard!” I call out and one of the men rushes into my room. “Lord, Caspian,” he answers. “Did anyone see the witch's body?” I ask, wanting a confirmation.“No, Lord Caspian,” the guard answers. “Then how was her death confirmed?” I ask, watching his reaction. I swipe my claws wildly, trying to tear his flesh, but he is strong enough to hold me. “Caspian,” Raider calls me, but I can't handle it. “Caspian, snap out of it!” He yells, and I can almost taste his sweat. Blood, I need it. His blood is strong. Just one bite.“Caspian! Snap out of it now!” He yells. I try to listen to his voice, but the voices in my head won't let me. Blood, just one taste. You can have it—just one bite. Go on, look at him. He is weak. His scent is inviting. Go on! Taste it! Damian's POV:I pace continuously in my room, lost in thought. Ever since Merida helped me remember a part of my past, I've felt different. My wolf senses are sharper. I can smell the faintest scents and now I feel weak after every magic I release. Turns out magic is give and take after all. How did mom ever manage to keep the secret from me for so long and even in her death I wouldn't have been able to find out if Merida hadn't taken me down a memory lane. Thorne had taken the secret to his grave and Dad too. They had deceived me all my life and I feel terrible and betrayed. I still feel used and I don't understand anything and I hope to find out more because I know I still haven't found out all I need to know. I still don't trust Merida one bit, she is a trickster and I know it is wise to trend with her kind carefully. I need her to teach me how to control my magic veins and I know she plans to get rid of Elsa. I can see it in her eyes and I won't ever let that happen. I know she

I manage to stop it in the air with all my strength and my knees buckling, until her smile grows larger and she strikes, letting the ball of flame hit me.I fell to the floor face flat as the fire hit. “Oophf,” I groan and try to get up but I feel the pain in my arm. “What's the matter?” I hear Merida ask, her voice cracking with laughter. “I thought you could handle it,” she continued and I rise up. My gaze is hard on her and I get into position. She continues to aim at me using the elements. “What are you doing?” I ask and she raises her eyebrow.“What do you mean?” She asks and I lose my cool. “You're not training me. She tried to kill me with flame balls, twice!”. I placed emphasis on it twice. “But she can’t, knowing it will be a breach of her promise. But if she tries it, I will kill her”, Elsa looked at me and said this line. There was a brief silence while we walked toward the castle.“Caspian has not attacked yet, that is very unlikely of him”, Dennis said, breaking the silence. “Then he must have discovered that Merida is not yet dead. He knows he can’t if she is not dead. She knows his weakness”, I added.“Surprisingly, she also wants him dead”, Dennis stated again“Which is why she can’t kill us. You know it is very dangerous and can kill if you are not powerful enough”, Raider stressed.“I needed extra power to bring Elsa and her pack down since they refused our proposal before”.I left the mirror and went to get a change of clothes. Caspian's POV It's been days since I was locked up and Alpha Hector haven't made a move yet. I need to leave. Finding the ancient stone was my goal but not while I am confined in the dungeon. "Hey!" I called out to one of the guards. "Get the alpha over here. Why is he keeping me here?" I yelled out, letting my anger take control. They only stared at me but said nothing. I grunted and moved back. It was hard to escape as the guards were tripled.I heard the Luna of the crescent moon pack, Elsa, came to the pack and had escaped after been locked in. The guard new chief was been careful and tripled the guards. Elsa ruined everything. If only she didn't escape, the guards wouldn't be tripled and it would have been easier to fight off two or three guards and leave. "Damn it!" I yelled and faced them again. "I won't let this go. I will surely make you all pay for locking me up," I vowed and punched the wall. "Calm down, Caspian," Marcus said in my head. "How can I calm down? We are

Damien's POV I was devastated as well as Dennis and the rest of the Pack Members as we had our Luna slipped right under our noses in broad daylight. It's something I still feel terrible for, I am to blame for her Kidnap, I wished I had Perceived it right before it happened, we wouldn't have our asses busted up this way.How could I not have figured it out after I saw a spy saw us earlier while we were having our council meeting, it's such a shame it happened right under my nose without having the chance to protect Elsa before all this had happened. I probably wouldn't have dragged her inside to have a conversation with her, with Elsa believing I had kept a secret from her and I'm her best friend, why does she think I'm going to be hiding things from her when she knows that I love her and will do everything right to avoid not been hurt by anyone.I do not know what to think right now, it's probably going to be Hector that wants her life after we ruined his pack and got

Elsa's POV: In a second I was with Damien and the rest of the pack, If I could remember in a council meeting too and another minute I'm in the middle of nowhere tied up having zero idea of how I got there.I was crying bitterly inside of me as I wondered how the hell I got here in the first place and now I have to battle with my claustrophobia. My hands were tied with a very strong rope that have wolfsbane potion on it, and it's definitely killing me, as it draws my strength leaner every second that I breathe. My head’s spinning like some hurricane is blowing inside of it. • Forgotten Luna   CHAPTER 81

Damien's POV I went after him but before I got out, he had gone. There was no sight of him. The secret opening led to an open field which was outside the pack. I looked around but no one was around."Damn it, I missed him," I muttered and rubbed my temple in frustration..If only I had come out faster, I would have seen where he went through and also know if he has an accomplice or not. I growled in frustration and went back in. Hy the time I got to the courtyard, they were done with the meeting and Elsa had left. "Where is the Luna?" I asked Dennis who was speaking to a member of the council. "Where did you disappear to? Your attention was needed at some point," he said, ignoring my question. I drew my brows and asked, "Why? Did something happened? Was there a different discussion?"He shook his head and faced me. "It's nothing to be worried about. The council just had a few questions because you were the one who went to rescue the Luna," he answered. "Where is she now?" I ask

Damien's POVI had no idea Elsa would find out soon enough. And just as I thought it would, it broke her down. I tried to explain but she was too hurt and angry to listen. After she left for her room, I faced Camile who bowed her, feeling bad for her. "What really happened our there?" I asked."We had no idea what was happening so when we got to the market, we saw a few people around which was unusual. We went closer to ask and this woman began to insult the luna blaming her for what happened and she called her incompetent," she explained which made me understand why Elsa reacted that way. I let out a deep breath and rubbed my neck in frustration. "Damn it," I cursed under my breath. "I need to speak to her."I made to move but Dennis held me back, "Get needs her space. You were the one who stopped Camille, remember? You can't speak to her now."I sighed in frustration and moved my hair back. She was all alone, wallowing in sorrow from what the woman said.I nodded and walked back

Elsa's POVI stood motionless, as her words got registered in my head. Camille hurried to me and stood behind me. "Let's go," she said and tried to take me out but I pulled my hand from hers and faced the old woman."What are you talking about? What is going on?" I asked and she scoffed. "You are pretending not to know. The news is all over and just have reached your ears huf you don't know what to do," she answered with irritation lacing her voice. "It's because of you Hector is trying to attach again."Camille arched her brows and faced her. "What do you mean? How dare you accuse the Luna?""Am I wrong? You should tell her the truth since you both are close," she answered and looked at me again. "Yu are not fit to be the leader.""That's enough! How dare you say such a thing like that? Have you forgotten everything the Luna has done for the growth and progress of this pack?" Camille asked, getting pissed off. "Of what use is it? Hector would attack us now and all those things wou

Elsa's POVThe day was going stressful more than I could imagine, but, a good thing happened, which was Melinda gaining her consciousness. I excused myself and went back to my room to get a special herb I had reserved. A herb that help relieve any pain, but getting back there, I heard Damien's voice but I couldn't figure out what he was saying. Knowing they were together made my heart skipped a beat. I know I shouldn't feel this way as I should be bothered about Melinda, but I couldn't help the feeling. I swallowed hard and went on to the room but almost bumped into Damien who came out at the same time. He was taken aback at first but suddenly held my hand and went to his room. At that moment, the feeling i had disappeared and was replaced with satisfaction of him being code to me. I thought about his suggestion to leave the pack for some days and go to a place where we could relax. I wanted to scream yes, as I imagined what it would be like, with just the both of us together in

Damien's povIt was a huge relieve for everyone seeing Melinda awake. She was able to defeat that man and got out. That meant, he had gone out of Caspian's body, but I had no idea if Caspian was alive. It would be a huge relieve for us if he dies. But, Melinda was acting arrogant and that got me pissed off. Everyone of us risked our lives for her, especially Elsa who went as far as going into the enemy's territory just to get the cure. Elsa was still trying her best to keep her calm while telling us she was just frightened, but she wasn't ready to calm down. Finally, she did but the doctor said she lost her voice which was sacrificed for using her dark magic. Everyone left the room, leaving me behind. It was an opportunity to ask about Marcus without anyone hearing us. I wanted to know more about him and handle him myself. I stepped closer and sat beside her. "What happened to the man you faced?" I asked, staring at her. "I am talking about Marcus. Nod your head if he died."Sh

Melinda's POV I gasped out, and began to pant heavily. I was sweating and my heart was thumping against my ribcage. My memory seemed blank and it felt as if I was floating on thin air. "Melinda?" I heard someone called me, but the voice seemed distant. "Melinda, can you hear me?" The voice called out to me again and shook me. I gasped out again and batted my lashes, getting my blurry view clear. I felt a hand in my cheek and I shivered in fright. "Melinda, wake up. We are safe now," the voice said again. I blinked and my gaze fell on Damien, who was seating beside me. Yes Damien, behind him was the Luna, Dennis was standing beside, and Camille.I remembered everything. I remembered their names and their faces. I was locked in the spiritual realm but I somehow survived. I faced the Marcus and I think I was able to use my dark magic a bit, although, the memory wasn't clear enough. Camille walked closer and helped me seat well. "Are you alright?"
