Elsa's POV:

“You mean you are also a witch,” I say, pacing around the room.

“Yes,” Damon answers and I can see Merida smirk.

“What if she is lying? Putting these thoughts in your head?” I ask, glancing at Merida.

My mind refusing to accept anything coming from Merida.

“Sure, I bet you think I also placed the memory of his mom, which he knew and had forgotten,” Merida says. Her voice annoys me further.

I badly want to rip her to shreds; her hands and feet are caged, but it seems her mouth needs to be sealed up.

“Yes, I do,” I answer.

“Then you're a fool, dear Luna,” Merida says, provoking me some more.

Damian intervenes before I can tear her apart. His hands stopped me, and his eyes pleading.

“She's telling the truth,” Damian says.

“My mother was a cleric witch. One of the high witches of their coven,” I say, turning my gaze to Merida.

“So, how does that help us?” I ask.

“A whole lot, since Caspian is using dark magic,” Merida inputs, and I roll my eyes.

“What?” I ask

I can feel it draining my energy. I am pacing in my room, lost in thinking as I need a new plan. Raider is better and I haven't seen him since last night. Why did I have that vision of my plan failing? Could it be that the letter was wrong? Could Merida still be alive? Something isn't right somewhere. I can feel a pull at my life force. Merida never mentioned me feeling hungry every time but it wasn't food. I wanted blood, to destroy everything. Was the price I had to pay for dark magic? Damn that woman. I should have killed her myself.“Guard!” I call out and one of the men rushes into my room. “Lord, Caspian,” he answers. “Did anyone see the witch's body?” I ask, wanting a confirmation.“No, Lord Caspian,” the guard answers. “Then how was her death confirmed?” I ask, watching his reaction. I feel the ache in my fangs, and I want to taste his blood. “Give it to me,” I growl, aiming for his neck. I swipe my claws wildly, trying to tear his flesh, but he is strong enough to hold me. “Caspian,” Raider calls me, but I can't handle it. “Caspian, snap out of it!” He yells, and I can almost taste his sweat. Blood, I need it. His blood is strong. Just one bite.“Caspian! Snap out of it now!” He yells. I try to listen to his voice, but the voices in my head won't let me. Blood, just one taste. You can have it—just one bite. Go on, look at him. He is weak. His scent is inviting. Go on! Taste it! Do it!My vision blurs and I see the pulsing vein in Raider's neck.I lunge, jaws open wide.Raider's hands clamp down on my shoulders, holding me back.“Caspian, stop!” he shouts. But I'm consumed by this primal urge.My claws scratch, tearing into Raider's arm.He grunts in

Damian's POV:I pace continuously in my room, lost in thought. Ever since Merida helped me remember a part of my past, I've felt different. My wolf senses are sharper. I can smell the faintest scents and now I feel weak after every magic I release. Turns out magic is give and take after all. How did mom ever manage to keep the secret from me for so long and even in her death I wouldn't have been able to find out if Merida hadn't taken me down a memory lane. Thorne had taken the secret to his grave and Dad too. They had deceived me all my life and I feel terrible and betrayed. I still feel used and I don't understand anything and I hope to find out more because I know I still haven't found out all I need to know. I still don't trust Merida one bit, she is a trickster and I know it is wise to trend with her kind carefully. I need her to teach me how to control my magic veins and I know she plans to get rid of Elsa. I can see it in her eyes and I won't ever let that happen. I know she

I manage to stop it in the air with all my strength and my knees buckling, until her smile grows larger and she strikes, letting the ball of flame hit me.I fell to the floor face flat as the fire hit. “Oophf,” I groan and try to get up but I feel the pain in my arm. “What's the matter?” I hear Merida ask, her voice cracking with laughter. “I thought you could handle it,” she continued and I rise up. My gaze is hard on her and I get into position. She continues to aim at me using the elements. “What are you doing?” I ask and she raises her eyebrow.“What do you mean?” She asks and I lose my cool. “You're not training me. You're having fun,” I confess. “This is …” she starts but I don't let her finish. “Practice as

Damian’s POV“Either one of us had to die and I refused to be the one,” Elsa added. I looked at Elsa and a load of emotion claimed me. What Merida had said about her earlier is not true. “How did the training go? Was it fun?”, Dennis asked jokingly.I know he tried to piss me off knowing how much I hate Merida.“More like deadly. She tried to kill me with flame balls, twice!”. I placed emphasis on it twice. “But she can’t, knowing it will be a breach of her promise. But if she tries it, I will kill her”, Elsa looked at me and said this line. There was a brief silence while we walked toward the castle.“Caspian has not attacked yet, that is very unlikely of him”, Dennis said, breaking the silence. “Then he must have discovered that Merida is not yet dead. He knows he can’t if she is not dead. She knows his weakness”, I added.“Surprisingly, she also wants him dead”, Dennis stated again“Which is why she can’t kill us. She gets protection from us and we are also against Caspian”, El

You know it is very dangerous and can kill if you are not powerful enough”, Raider stressed.“I needed extra power to bring Elsa and her pack down since they refused our proposal before”.I left the mirror and went to get a change of clothes. I put on the cloth and faced Raider again.“Don’t you think they are too proud for not submitting to us. Lyra's POVThe sun warmed my fur as I sat beside Elsa, watching her sleep. Her breathing was even and deep, a sign that she was healing. The dark magic that had coursed through her veins was fading, replaced by the steady pulse of life. The battle had taken its toll, leaving her weak and vulnerable, but she was strong, resilient. She would recover. The Whispering Falls, once a refuge for our scattered packs, now bustled with activity. Wolves from all corners of the forest mingled, sharing stories of the battle, mourning their losses, celebrating their victory. The air, once thick with fear and uncertainty, now vibrated with a sense of hope and renewal. The Shadow Council’s reign of terror was finally over.Damien approached, his golden eyes filled with concern. He sat beside me, his gaze fixed on Elsa’s sleeping form.“She’s strong,” I said softly, reassuring both him and myself. “She’ll pull through.”He nodded, his expression softening. “I know. Damien's POVThe Shadow Council leader, a grotesque parody of a wolf, lunged at Elsa, a swirling vortex of dark energy surrounding its claws. I roared, throwing myself between them, taking the full force of the blow on my shoulder. Pain exploded through my body, a searing agony that sent me sprawling.I hit the stone floor hard, the air knocked from my lungs. I struggled to breathe, my vision blurring. I could hear Elsa’s frantic cries, the snarls of the Shadow Council leader, the clash of claws and teeth. I had to get up. I had to protect her.Through the haze of pain, I saw Elsa battling the leader, her movements swift and deadly, but the leader was stronger, faster, fueled by dark magic. Its attacks were relentless, a barrage of claws and teeth that forced Elsa back, step by step.I pushed myself to my feet, ignoring the throbbing pain in my shoulder. I staggered towards them, my legs shaky, my body screaming in protest. I had to do something, anything, to help her.I lunge

Elsa's POVThe air crackled with the remnants of dark magic, the stench of it clinging to the stone walls of the stronghold. My fur was matted with sweat and blood, my muscles screamed in protest, but a fierce determination burned within me. We had breached the stronghold, broken through the Shadow Council’s defenses, but the fight was far from over. We still had to face the source of their power, their leader.Damien stood beside me, his golden eyes blazing with the same fierce determination that mirrored my own. We exchanged a brief nod, a silent promise to face whatever lay ahead, together. The stronghold’s interior was a labyrinth of dark corridors and crumbling chambers. The air was heavy with the scent of decay and fear. The echoes of the battle still reverberated through the stone walls, a constant reminder of the fight raging around us.We moved cautiously, our senses alert for any sign of danger. • Forgotten Luna   CHAPTER 93

Damien's pov The roar of the battle echoed around me, a chaotic symphony of snarls, howls, and the clash of teeth and claw. My muscles burned, my breath came in ragged gasps, but I couldn’t stop. I had to keep fighting. For Elsa. For Lyra. For our pack. For our future. My task was the most straightforward, yet arguably the most dangerous: a full-frontal assault on the main gates of Eldoria. A diversion, Lyra had called it. A necessary sacrifice to draw the Shadow Council’s forces away from Elsa and her infiltration team. I knew the odds were stacked against us, but I also knew that our survival depended on the success of this distraction.I lunged at a hulking shadow wolf, its eyes glowing with malevolent red light. Its fur bristled with dark magic, making its movements faster, its strikes harder. I ducked under a vicious swipe of its claws, my teeth sinking into its flank. It yelped in pain, but retaliated with a powerful blow that sent me sprawling.I scrambled to my feet,

Elsa's pov The Whispering Falls had become a bustling hub of activity. Packs of all shapes and sizes had answered our call, seeking refuge from the Shadow Council’s tyranny. The air, once filled with the tranquil sound of rushing water, now buzzed with the murmur of voices, the clatter of paws on stone, and the occasional excited yip of a pup.I watched from a high ledge overlooking the falls, a sense of pride swelling in my chest. We had done it. We had united the packs. Damien stood beside me, his gaze sweeping over the assembled wolves, a small smile playing on his lips.“It’s…remarkable,” I breathed, still slightly awestruck by the sheer number of wolves gathered below.Damien nodded. “Lyra was right. Together, we are strong.”But even with our newfound strength, a heavy weight settled in my stomach. Uniting the packs was only the first step. The Shadow Council still posed a formidable threat, and we needed a plan, a strategy to defeat them.“What’s next?” I asked, turning

Elsa's povMy paws ached, every muscle screamed in protest, but I couldn't stop. We had to keep moving. Damien, just ahead of me, glanced back, his golden eyes filled with concern. "Elsa, we need to rest," he said, his voice low and rough.I shook my head, my breath coming in ragged gasps. "Not yet. We have to reach the Whispering Falls before nightfall."The Whispering Falls. Our last hope. Lyra had told us about it, a hidden sanctuary deep within the mountains, a place where the Shadow Council couldn't reach us. It was a long and dangerous journey, but it was our only option. The Shadow Council had regrouped, stronger and more determined than ever. They had driven us from our home, scattered our pack. We were on the run, desperate to find a safe haven. We pushed onward, the forest floor a blur of green and brown. The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth. The silence was broken only by the crunch of leaves beneath our paws and the occasional call of a bird.

The aftermath of the battle was a tapestry of exhaustion and exhilaration. The clearing, once a scene of chaotic violence, now bore the quiet scars of conflict. The scent of blood mingled with the crisp night air, a stark reminder of the price of victory. The pack, though weary and wounded, moved with a newfound sense of purpose. They had stared into the abyss and emerged triumphant.Damien, leaning heavily on his sword, surveyed the scene. Elsa stood beside him, her hand resting on his arm, her presence a silent source of strength. The mysterious woman, her face etched with fatigue, watched the pack with a quiet intensity."We have much to do," Damien said, his voice hoarse. The immediate task was tending to the wounded. Several warriors had sustained serious injuries, and the pack’s healers worked tirelessly, their hands glowing with a soft, healing light. The mysterious woman, whom they now knew as Lyra, approached Damien. “The Shadow Council is scattered, but not defeated

The days that followed were filled with a sense of unease. The pack had never felt so vulnerable, and the knowledge that there were more powerful enemies lurking in the shadows weighed heavily on everyone's minds.Damien and Elsa spent their days training the pack warriors, preparing them for the battles to come. They knew that they couldn't afford to be complacent. They had to be ready for anything. One evening, as the sun began to set, a lone figure approached the pack's territory. The warriors were on high alert, their weapons drawn."Who goes there?" Damien called out, his voice booming across the clearing. The figure stopped and raised its hands in a gesture of peace."It's me," the woman said. "I've come to bring you news."Damien and Elsa exchanged a surprised glance. They had not expected to see the woman again so soon."What news?" Damien asked, his voice cautious."I've learned more about the ones who are coming for you," the woman said. "They are called the Shadow Council,

The woman stood in the shadows, watching Alaric disappear into the distance. Her eyes narrowed, a flicker of anger crossing her features."He'll pay for what he's done," she muttered under her breath.Turning, she looked towards the mouth of the cave where Damien, Elsa, and Dennis had fled. A faint smile played on her lips."They're safe, for now," she said. "But this is far from over."She raised her staff, and a swirling vortex of energy opened up before her. With a determined stride, she stepped into the vortex and vanished, leaving only a faint echo of her words hanging in the air.Meanwhile, in the Crescent Moon pack...Damien carried Elsa through the forest, her head resting against his chest. Dennis followed close behind, his senses alert for any sign of danger."Are you alright?" Damien asked, his voice filled with concern.Elsa nodded weakly. "I'm just tired," she said. "And shaken.""We're almost there," Damien assured her. "Just a little further."They continued their journ
