Elsa’s POV

He laughed as he saw me climb out from the treeline. “You are a growing pack and your first leader is a Luna instead of an alpha?” He asked with a chuckle. “It seems two hundred men were more of a hassle if I needed to take you out.”

“Does it really matter who is the leader of a pack?” I asked as I moved forward, feeling Damian and Dennis move together with me

He shook his head like he never heard my words, moving closer as well. “Caspian told me he asked you all to join my pack, but you refused, and yet you stole from me members who would like to join my pack.”

“We never stole from you, alpha Hector,” I said, addressing his title to let him know I was not in the mood for a speech.

“That is not what I heard,” he said as he looked back at his men. “Caspian!”

I remembered this face as he stepped forward. Twice we had met, and twice we had forced him on his heels to his master.

“Is this the motley crew you said stole over a hundred werewolves from you while decimating a hund

Elsa’s POVI stood before my men, for the very first time as their leader after the attack. It was no news that I had the alpha blood in me, as everyone memorized that atbthe back of their palm, and today of all days, the need arose for me to prove myself. Damian, always the supportive mate, stood hard by my side, though worried, but also determined. "Do you think it's really necessary for you to lead the group to a war at this stage?" he asked, his voice evident with worry concern.I spurned around to face him, sensing his fear despite all we'd overcome together. “I really have to. At least, consider it for our group, and also for our survival. We are almost a full blown pack, and that also came with its own disadvantage as our survival now pose as a threat to every almost every pack out there.”He sighed in frustration as he lowered his head. "I just did my best to found you, Elsa. I'm scared I’ll lose you to the cold hands of death when this war starts."My smile widened as I c

The BattleDennis bowed in respect and rushed out almost immediately to carry out my orders. The forest surrounding us, fortunately showed signs of holding its breath as we made preparations for the battle that is unavoidable. Not quite long, the attackers from the rival pack stormed in. Counting the number randomly, I noticed a hundred men were present. The information from our scouts came out right.“The great Alpha Hector,” the men that just arrived called out in reverence as a huge figure emerged with authority. "Is that what the man is called, Hector?" I asked Dennis in a whisper.Dennis replies, “That's the rude and most callous unforgiving, and power hungry alpha of Night Howler.”Alpha Hector's voice was heard echoing deep in the forest in mockery. "Who dares come out to be in charge here?"I swallowed an invisible lump that magically formed on my throat. And I knew for sure that this moment, was mine to shine.“If by your silence it means you do not have a leader, then your

Elisa’s POVI gaze at Damien softly as I gently dab the wet clothe against his wound, he hisses and I make my dabs lighter, my heart heavy seeing him in pain.“Is there a problem?” I hear him ask and my eyes met his, already welling with tears. I shake my head trying to withhold my tears but he instead pulls me closer into a hug.I feel my shoulders drop and I succumb into his embrace. It was so warm.He finally pulls from the hug and faces me, his eyes softening as they met with mine. “Tell me El, is there a problem?”I sigh and look to the side, a blush creeping onto my cheeks. “Nothing.. I just.. I was scared.”A smile spread on Damien's lips. “Scared that I'd have been brutally killed?” Hearing this, I immediately slap his chest and he bursts into a light chuckle.“Don't say it that way you brat.” I said and stood up, walking towards the cupboard to get a pair a clean clothes he is meant to change into.I'm suddenly pulled by the arm by Damien and I land on his chest with a light

Elsa’s POVDennis’s hesitation sends a shiver down my veins, and I sense something is amiss. His eyes lock onto mine, filled with concern, but he wouldn't speak. “Are you going to talk? Or are you going to stare at me all day?” I asked, my voice dripping with force. “I can't hide anything from you can I?” Dennis says.“No, you can't. Not after you call me with that tone,” I respond, with the sassiest tone I could mutter. “Dennis,” I called. “Luna,” he answered and continued talking. “Luna, we've received reports of a strange occurrence near the eastern border,” he begins, his voice filled with an unmistakable urgency. My instincts kick in, and I feel my senses heighten. “What kind of occurrences? Dennis!” I press, my curiosity itching every part of my nerves. Dennis's expression turns grave. His lips give way to something I didn't expect. “Our scouts have reported some findings. Some abandoned campsites and a few of the scouts have spotted shadowy figures lurking around the woo

We don't accept loud people in our gathering,” I speak, serving him my best firm look with a death glare. Caspian scoffs, and growls. His eyes registering defeat as I put him in his place. He turns to look around and his eyes dance at the sight of something.I turn my head slowly to follow his gaze as I see Damian, still recovering in the shadows. What is he doing there? Caspian better not touch him.“Isn't that your precious mate?” Caspian taunts. “The dumb one,” Caspian continues.I remain silent, ignoring his snarky remarks. Caspian men laugh, enjoying whatever Caspian was doing.“I heard he is quite dispensable. Useless, an

Elisa's POV:We move carefully through the abandoned mine, our hasty footsteps echoing off the damp walls. “Shh, be quiet,” I tell everyone as we walk through. “Keep your eyes open and watcha head,” I remind them as we walk. Pheona continues to lead the way. “Stay close. We are almost there,” she whispers. She takes a corner, and we all follow, and the sound of murmured voices grows louder. I signal for everyone to stop with my hand high above my head. “We're close,” I say, my voice still low, careful not to give away our position.Damian nods; our wolf senses alert. I watch Damian scan the shadows as if he sensed something. Dennis moves forward, his ears pressed against the wall with his hands supporting his weight. “What do you hear?” I ask, not ready to move without a clear spot given.Dennis signals with his hands, and he listens carefully. His wolf activated as his eyes glowed. He starts talking, his eyes still pressed on the wall. “I can hear Caspian. He's addressing his p

Elsa's POV:I keep running as fast as my legs carry me, my heart pounding. I see Dennis finally change into his wolf and run with Damian.Satisfied, I looked away and continued to run, ensuring that every one of Caspian's packs was hot on my heels. Their growls and snarls fill the forest.“Split up!” I hear one of them shout. “Oh no,” I mutter as I keep running. They couldn't split up now. “Anyone who captures her gets a reward!” The same voice yells, and I quicken my pace. I summon my wolf as I move to the left, narrowly avoiding a trap hole and some snapping jaws. Caspian's pack was very close to my trail. I keep dodging the werewolves easily as I scramble through the bushes. “Surround her!” I hear Caspian yell.I listen to my wolf senses, letting them guide me through the paths. The security guard opens the gate, and our pack pours in.I begin to search after I have gotten in to see Elsa's wolf, who is not by my side. Where was she? I turn around to see her outside the gate. My heart beats when I notice Hector's huge wolf coming for her. She slid in the gate before it was shut, and Hector's angry growl followed. Melinda's POV I gasped out, and began to pant heavily. I was sweating and my heart was thumping against my ribcage. My memory seemed blank and it felt as if I was floating on thin air. "Melinda?" I heard someone called me, but the voice seemed distant. "Melinda, can you hear me?" The voice called out to me again and shook me. I gasped out again and batted my lashes, getting my blurry view clear. I felt a hand in my cheek and I shivered in fright. "Melinda, wake up. We are safe now," the voice said again. I blinked and my gaze fell on Damien, who was seating beside me. Yes Damien, behind him was the Luna, Dennis was standing beside, and Camille.I remembered everything. I remembered their names and their faces. I was locked in the spiritual realm but I somehow survived. I faced the Marcus and I think I was able to use my dark magic a bit, although, the memory wasn't clear enough. Camille walked closer and helped me seat well. "Are you alright?" The Luna asked, staring at me wi

Caspian's POV We walked into the courtyard with our heads need in shame. We couldn't bring ourselves to looking at the Alpha and the disappointment enveloping his face. "It's about time," he muttered. "Now, where is the Vela Harmento?"I went on my knees immediately and Raider did the same. "I am sorry Alpha, but we lost it," I answered, remembering the battle I had with Damien and I still lost anyway. "What do you mean by you lost it?" He questioned, probably staring daggers at us. "We weren't the only one in search of the vela Harmento. Damien and the other guy, Dennis, were also in search for it. We fought to get it but unfortunately, they won. They had the hell of the lake's monster." I answered even though I lied in some point. They never had the help of anyone. They beat us singlehandedly. Besides, I was the one who got the help but i failed anyway. That damn Marcus deceived me and failed. He almost made Damien kill my body and that would have been hard to come back to it.

Hector's pov"HOW DARE YOU ALL LET HER ESCAPE!" I growled out and the ground shook due to the force I asserted. The loud breaking sound of the newly acquired lion statue by my throne, echoed in the meeting hall. The guards were all on their knees, shivering in fright. They should. They should be scared 'cause they had caused me something important and had awaken the rage in me, ready to burn and consume everything on it path."How dare you let her slip away from your grasps? She is a weakling and you couldn't handle her?" I roared."My…my lord. She… I… I tried to…s-stop her. But she… was… wasn't weak," One of the guards covered in bandage for what I don't care for, shuttered with his head lowered, daring not to look at me. "She wasn't weak? Are you trying to say she fought against the chemical within a day and became strong?" I questioned, with amusement dancing in my voice. They all sounded stupid. The chemical was a strong one and she can't fight it off. Her getting strong sound

Damien's povI couldn't control myself. The way she stared at me and the emotions in her eyes, drew me to kiss her. I wanted to stop, but my emotions was stronger than the little warnings in my head. I kissed every part of her lips and surprisedly, she didn't push me away but kissed me back. I took my hand to her waist and she shuddered at my touch. I deepened the kiss and when we finally pulled away, we were both breathless. I looked at her and noticed the corners of her lips curled up into a warm smile. She wasn't angry or pissed off. "I care about you a lot, Elsa. I adore you. I want to be with you. I what to stay by your side as long as I can. I want to be yours," I confessed, letting out my feelings to her. She stared at me for a few seconds before she drew closer and rested her head on my chest."I adore you, I like you. I don't know the best words to use to tell you how I feel," she confessed and for a minute, it felt as if my heart stopped. I tightened my arm around her

Elsa's POV He shushed me and cover my mouth. He looked behind me, and watched the guards walk closer to the tree after hearing my voice. "Come out now, miss Luna of the crescent," The guard taunted, as he got closer.Suddenly, they heard the footsteps of a guard who had gone with the other group, distracting them momentarily. He rested his hands on his knees, panting heavily. "We've found her," he informed. The head of the guards drew his brows in confusion and looked towards the tree where he heard a female voice. "We captured her already," the informant added. The officer nodded and they all went ahead, going towards the place where they caught me, or rather, someone who looked like me. I let out a deep breath that I held in for long, in relieve of not getting caught. "Are you alright?" Damien asked, scrutinizing me from head to toe. "I should have come earlier. Sorry for wasting time and making you pass through all these."I stared at him for a few seconds, and relieve rushe

Elsa's POV I had no idea if it was night or day, which was a huge setback for me. I had to escape but my plan would only work at night. I took in a deep breath to inhale the substance Camille had given me, which I soaked a piece of material in and used it to cover my nose. No one suspected a thing. They all thought I was trying to cover my nose from the chemical they released again, and few of the guards laughed at me for trying to protect myself. They said covering my nose wouldn't stop me from getting weak. If only they knew…They all thought I was weak, as usual, but I was far from it. I had regained my strength and ready to attack. "Hey, I want to set out for a few minutes. I have been here all through the evening," one of the guards said to the other, who nodded.I watched him leave, while the other let out a deep breath and faced me. He stared at me for a few seconds before he clicked his tongue and shook his head. "You are a Luna. Such a disappointment to see you this weak

Damien's pov "We news to gey back as fast as we can. The days are running and Melinda might lose her life," Dennis reminded, walking ahead of me. Everything he said we're likes whispers, as I didn't pay attention to him. My mind was occupied with one person: Elsa. She's all alone. I had no idea if she was back or still locked up in Hector's clutch or worst still, if he killed her. I tightened my fist at the thought of it and clenched my jaw. I would never forgive myself if something bad happens to her. If only I didn't leave hesitatingly like that, I would have convinced he not to act rashly. She was probably worried and left on her own. I looked at Dennis with a frown plastered on my face. "You should have talked the Luna into not going on this mission," I said, and he stopped walking to face me. "You think I didn't? I did but she's stubborn. I already told you this," he answered, with his voice calm, but that wasn't enough. Elsa was out there in the hands of a dangerous man.

  • Forgotten Luna   CHAPTER 68

Elsa's POV I carefully tiptoed to the guard standing by the cell I was locked in. He held the key to the cell, tightly in his grip. I got closer and stretched my hand to carefully steal it, but he suddenly moved and faced me. "Nice try, my lady. Your powers won't even help you if you are to use it to get the key," he mocked and turned on the gas, which contained same substance as the powdery substance blew on us. I had no idea what it was, but I hated it. "No, please," I cried and coughed, slowly falling on my knees. Because I had an Alpha bloodline in me, it wasn't enough to kill me or put me to sleep easily. That was the reason why I was conscious even when Camille and the other werewolves fell to the floor. But there was one thing it does to me. It weakens me. Weaken me so much that I can't lift a finger. I fell to the floor and rested my back against the cell, feeling every strength in me slowly drawing out. I was like an empty shell just waiting to be blown away by the wind
