Chapter 25

Nicholas's parents had reached the hospital. They go into their son's room and notice that his wife is seated next to him. Her head rests on the corner of his bed, and she is holding their son's hand. Seeing this, they both gaze at each other in amazement.

Nicholas opens his eyes to stare at Sarah. First, he looks at his hand, which Sarah was clutching tightly. He feels great after seeing this. Sarah was sleeping, and he did not want to disturb her. He was watching her sleep when he noticed his parents standing near the entrance, looking at him. He smiled at them.

His mother sheds tears upon seeing her son, while his father becomes quite concerned upon seeing him. He is ready to approach his son, but his son stops him. He signifies them and asks them to stay since he does not want to disturb Sarah's sleep; perhaps she could not sleep the entire night. And his parents leave the room to sit on a bench. Then Andrew arrives and tells them everything.
