Chapter Forty-Six – Imprisoned In Argyros

Leandros’s POV

The entire night, I didn’t get a wink of sleep. My mate’s innocent face kept flashing across my mind. She was in pain, in tears, only because of me. She didn’t deserve this at all.

All the time, I thought of ways to convince King Iliad to let me go. I knew I couldn’t convince him. With his rigid thinking, he was a tough nut to crack. If anyone could make him change his mind, it was Dimitra, but I doubted she would. It was because of her obsession with me I was forced to face this shit.

My blood boiled with fury and at that moment, I wanted to kill the father and daughter duo and escape from here.

The next morning, I waited for the king to summon me, but he didn’t. After a sumptuous breakfast in my room, I paced the floor, waiting for the next course of action. I didn’t have all day to enjoy their hospitality. I was a busy wolf with a business and pack to run.

The door opened, and I groaned at the sight of Dimitra in a brighter spirit than last night.
