Chapter Seventy-Nine – Lyra Understands Me

It was a lazy Sunday, and we spent it in fishing and skiing with the triplets. Lyra packed up enough food to have a picnic by the frozen lake in our backyard. The pups enjoyed a sunny day outdoors until they were exhausted. It was something they had never done in the last four years, as Sunday meant pack meetings for me. Therefore, it was a relief that Zeph had wrapped up all meetings on Saturday. It left me free to enjoy with my family. Lyra’s laughter and exuberance were so infectious that the pups and I caught on by the end of the day.
