Chapter 83

In the morning Kaia woke up to an empty bed, only to hear Beau’s voice come from their bedroom balcony. “I want that woman out of my house in the next hour Jaden. I don’t know what I was thinking even suggesting we bring her here; I have a pregnant wife and a young child for God’s sake!”

Kaia had thought like Beau was thinking right now, but as time went on and her anger dissipated, she still wanted to get revenge, but she at least thought to hear Melissa’s side of the story first. Funny thing though, she still had not been with her long enough to even listen to any of the words that would come out her mouth. Most of her visits to the safe room was when she could see from the camera feed from her phone, that Melissa was asleep or only when she wanted to give her special meals.
