The following day found the whole pack house a little subdued, Amber and Roman still weren’t talking to each other, Damian had left with Jackson and a team of warriors to go in search of the traffickers and Tristan spent most of the morning locked in his office prepping for the conference call he had set up between the alliance pack alphas for that afternoon which left me wondering a mostly empty pack house.

I had offered to pick up some of the duties for Tristan, but he declined adamantly, saying I deserved some time to myself, to relax, only I once again found myself a little lost, not really knowing how to sit still.

There was once a time when I relished the thought of laying on my bed at my parents’ house and just being, listening to music or watching a movie, lately however I couldn’t seem to sit still long enough.
