Zariah POV I was hurting worse than I ever have hurt before. The luna started whipping my back and I know it probably looks horrible. I could feel that it was shredded by the time she finished, but then she insisted that Nathan start. She nagged, “You will beat her into submission. I was released from the hospital two days later on the condition that I take it easy and rest for a week. The wolfsbane that had been in my system was finally gone, but it had drastically slowed the healing on my back. Onyx had only just barely healed the wounds, but I was definitely going to have scars. Isaac calls them my battle scars and he’s proud of how I’m handling it. I’m proud of the way he has been handling the trauma he sustained by seeing me like that. I know it bothered him.
