Shawn

For me, being a cop is easy. Living my life is what's hard. I was bullied my entire life because I was different from the others. It was bad enough that after high school my parents moved us so I could start over. I ended up joining the military, serving for a couple of years before getting discharged for nearly dying on duty.

I went on a dangerous mission and it left me hospitalized for nearly an entire year. There were only two other survivors, but we didn't stay in contact. I went into the local police force and have been a cop for four years.

You're probably wondering why I was getting bullied, but I'm not going to tell you, at least not for now. It's just not easy for me to talk about. I'm just happy the place I live now, people are more accepting for what I am.

My family have noticed that I've been at my happiest that I've ever been and are happy for me. I know they are waiting for the day I bring someone home, but I just haven't found her yet. To be clear I'm a woman. And yes, my family accept me.

I know what you're thinking and no. My sexuality had nothing to do with why I was bullied. I promise you I will get to that, just not right now.

Connor, my partner, is my best friend. He knows all there is to know about me and doesn't treat me any different. He's even tried hooking me up with some girls he knew, but none of them were interested.

I was hoping to get lucky tonight. He was taking me out to a bar tonight, joining me as my wingman. With my muscular body, I have to wear men's clothes. I was dressed in dress slacks and a silk button down shirt tucked into my pants. The top few buttons left undone to show off a little cleavage. I had my hair cut short, like Channing Tatum. I wore it spiked tonight, held in place with a little gel.

I was about to order myself a drink when I noticed a couple of drunk men trying to force themselves on a woman who seemed to be drugged. I plowed through the crowd and shoved them off her. Her shirt had been shredded and her pants torn.

I quickly remove my shirt, leaving me in my tank top and drape it over her shoulders. It fit like a dress on her small frame and I pick her up in my arms, bridal style. I was given a path toward the exit and Connor was left surprised by what I did.

A frightened woman stepped in front of me, looking like the girl in my arms. She handed me her things and says in a choked whisper, "Those men drugged her and held me and my boyfriend back. She's blind and wanted to come out and meet someone. Please take care of my sister."

I give her a nod and she looked relieved. "Thank you. Have her call me," she asks softly.

"I will," I say softly.

I leave the bar and load the girl in my car. I got in and head back to my place. I just knew I had to protect her, I could feel it. There was something about her that made my heart race by just being near her and I don't even know her.

Once I got home I brought her to my room. I lay her in my bed, removed her shoes and covered her with a blanket. She started to stir and was freaking out. "No! Don't touch me," she screams in fear, kicking and flailing her arms and legs.

"It's okay, you're safe. I'm not going to hurt you," I say softly, taking her hands in mine.

She calmed at my touch, relaxing against my pillows. "My drink...it tasted funny. I only had a couple of sips, but I felt like I drank an entire bottle," she says quietly, slightly slurred.

"I stopped them before they could do anything further than rip your clothes. I put you in my shirt, to cover you up," I say softly and she reaches to feel my face.

I let her, knowing that she's blind and it was probably her way of being able to see. Her hands ran through my hair and I let out a relaxed sigh. I lean into her hands and I heard her giggle. It was the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. Her hands travel over my face, caressing my sculpted jawline. Her fingers sweep over my full luscious lips and I part them with a light gasp.

Her touch felt electrifying and I wanted more. I felt tears slip passed my lashes and over her fingers. She easily swept them away, pulling me to lay next to her. "Don't cry," she whispers quietly and lays her head on my chest. "I'm Abbigail."

"Shawn," I say softly, bringing my arm around her shoulders. "This is the most I've ever been with someone. They usually run the other way, once they see all of me."

"That's where I'm different from them,"

she says sounding tired. "I can't see."

Her hands roam over my muscular body and my heart starts racing under her head. Her hand reaches my groin and I freeze. She grabs my bulge, yes I said bulge and gasps with surprise. Her hand draws back, but she does not move away from me. Instead she cuddles closer to me.

"If your 'friend' is why they ran, then it's their loss, my gain. You're bigger than most men who tried to have their way with me," she says quietly, nuzzling against my breast. "I should probably call my sister. She's probably worried about me."

I hand her her phone from my nightstand and say, "She wanted you to call her anyway, I was going to let you sleep first."

"Thank you," she whispers, pressing a button and speed dialing her sister. "Hey Ashlee, you're on speaker. Shawn is with me."

"Thank God," she says with relief. "I was so scared. They held us back Abby. If Shawn didn't..."

"But she did and I'm safe. I'm going to sleep off these drugs and call you tomorrow. I just want to let you know I was okay."

"Take care of my sister Shawn," Ashlee chokes quietly.

"No worries, I'm a cop," I say in a protective tone.

The call ends and Abbigail lets out a sigh. I instinctively rub her back in comfort and she hums in acceptance. It wasn't long before she was asleep and soon I followed suit.

Abbigail

Growing up as a kid, I was normal. I could see, just like any normal kid. I was twelve, celebrating the fourth of July when a firework blew up in my face by accident. The brightness and sparks in my eyes damaged my sight and since then I've not been able to see.

I had to learn to use my other sences in place of my sight. Smell and touch let me remember different people in my life, along with voice recognition from sound. Taste was more for food and drinks.

Like for instance, at the bar tonight with my sister. All I could smell was a mix of sweat, perfume, cologne and alcohol. My sister uses a floral perfume, jasmine and its easy for me to know its her because not many wear that scent. Her boyfriend, Andy, bathes himself in that axe body spray and its enough to smother me when I get too close. Then those two guys that joined us for a bit, flirting with me. They smelled of cheap beer and cheap cologne.

My drink tasted funny and I felt like my world was spinning. The next thing I know, I'm not able to control my body as they rip at my clothes. I can't scream or call out to my sister, but I can hear her screaming. It didn't last long though. I felt them get shoved off me and a swarm of vanilla and lavender filled my nose. I felt as a large shirt was put over me and my limp body being scooped up into a pair of muscular arms. That sweet smell of vanilla and lavender blocked out the smell of the bar and even masked my sister's perfume as she spoke to my saviour.

The ride from the bar was long and soon I was laid in bed. The ride was long enough that I was able to sleep away some of the drugs and wake up freaking out. Her touch on my hands was soothing and I instantly calm down.

I run my fingers in her short hair and she sighs, leaning into my touch. I giggle, thinking it was cute how she was reacting to my touch, until I felt her tears. How could someone brave enough to save me from being raped be so vulnerable to my touch?

When she told me people offten ran when they saw all of her I just had to feel for myself. I was surprised to find she has a penis, a rather large one at that. She was hung more than most men who tried to have sex with me.

I could feel her heart racing under my head and she grew stiff beside me, like she was afraid I'd make a run for it. How could anyone judge this beautiful woman, the woman who saved my life? I pity those who ever made her feel like she was a freak, for those who judged her. She didn't ask for this.

After hearing she was a cop I hadn't felt more safe. I fell into instant sleep to her rubbing my back. The sweet smell of vanilla and lavender enveloping me in a comforting invisible blanket.

I woke the next morning, wrapped in someone's arms. The calming scent of vanilla and lavender slowly brought back memories of last night. I sigh with relief and nuzzle closer to my saviour. She groans sleepily, tightening her arm around my back and I relax.

I could hear shuffling around in the room and turn my head in the direction it came from. "Who is there," I ask in a scared whisper, holding onto Shawn.

I feel Shawn sit up next to me and taking me in her arms. "It's okay," she says softly and kisses the top of my head. "It's my sister, Annie. I asked her to bring you some clothes. My shirts are dresses on you."

I hug the oversized shirt closer to me. "I'm keeping this shirt," I say in a soft whisper and Shawn laughs. "I want to remember the woman who saved me."

"No one said we couldn't see each other again," she says softly tucking hair from my face. "Unless you don't want to."

I could hear the hurt in her voice and I wanted it to go away. "I would like that, very much," I say with a smile and hear her sigh with relief.

"Mom and dad are here too," Annie says softly. "They wanted to meet the girl you rescued last night."

"We'll be right down," Shawn says quietly.

She leads me to her bathroom and helps me feel around the room. She was about to leave the room when I took hold of her hand. She comes to stand in front of me, I feel for her face and press a kiss to her cheek. "Thank you," I say softly. "I've been looking for someone like you."

"So have I," she says in a choked whisper and kisses my forehead. "Let me know when you're done and I'll guide you downstairs."

I remove her large shirt and my torn clothes. Uncontrolled sobs escape my lips as I lower myswlf to the floor, remembering what almost happened to me last night. I hug my knees to my chest having never felt violated in my entire life.

"Abbigail? Are you alright in there," Shawn asks with concern in her tone.

When I took too long to answer, she let herself in and took me in her arms. Almost instantly I was able to calm down in her comforting embrace and calming scent of vanilla and lavender. I let her stay in the bathroom while I got dressed.

She took my hand and lead me to her waiting family. "Everthing alright dear," her mother asks with concern.

"Just glad your daughter showed up when she did," I choke quietly and hug to her arm. "I'd rather not talk about it."

"It's okay, she told us on the phone last night when she left the bar and asked me to bring you some clothes," Annie says in sympathy.

"The clothes fit nicely, thank you," I say with a small smile.

We sat at the table, eating breakfast and talking about me. They asked how I lost my eye sight and I told them about the accident.

"I just have one last question for you, well more like two," Joyce, her mother says and I nod for her to ask. "Are you okay with my daughter's condition and do you plan to see her again after today?"

"I honestly don't care that Shawn has a male's genitals and I would love to see her again. She doesn't care that I can't see, I can hear it when she talks to me," I choke reaching for her next to me and she gives me her hand. Her touch calms me and I can feel her move closer to me. "I haven't felt like this with someone before and I don't want to pass on the chance to date her, if she feels the same."

I feel her kiss my hand and knew I had my answer. "You're the first girl to accept me and I don't want to lose my chance either," she chokes quietly, but I could hear relief in her tone.

in a later chapter her boyfriend is mentioned he's a cop. the story is not written in her POV for readers to know her boyfriend works with Shawn and telling her that Shawn is a cop. honestly if you're going to nitpick read something else or go write your own

Why would Abbigail’s sister be okay with someone leaving with her drugged blind sister? That part did not make sense. And why would they be ripping her clothes off in the middle of the bar? They should have been outside or in a back hallway or something.

ShawnShe wanted to see her parents and her sister so I took her over for lunch. Her parents wanted to meet me anyway. To thank me for saving her last night. She put my shirt on over the clothes my sister gave her, keeping true to her word that she was keeping my shirt.I had to admit, she looked hot in it. She rolled the sleeves half up her arm and left the top few buttons undone, revealing her clothes underneath. Her blonde hair cascaded down her back, draped over her shoulders in tight, bouncy curls. The clothes my sister gave her fit snug against her curves giving emphasis to her breasts and her buttocks. I pulled in her parent's driveway and helped her out of my car. She held my hand as we walked to the door and rang the doorbell. Moments later it was opened by her sister, Ashlee. Shawn's POV It's been a week since Abbigail and I both confessed our feelings for each other. It's also been as long since the nightmares have returned each night. I had thoughts of calling her, but didn't want to disturb her sleep. I called my sister and my parents, but none of them were able to help me calm down so I could sleep, not like Abbigail. I was sitting in my bed, rocking myself unable to calm down from my nightmare and no one is answering their phone. I really don't want to bother Abbigail, but I'm scared to sleep. I pick up my phone and it was nearly two in the morning. I end up caving, needing to feel her in my arms and call her. To my surprise she answers on the second ring. "Shawn? Are you having trouble sleeping," she asks with concern in a tired whisper. "I haven't really slept all week and no one else can calm me down like you do. I really don't want to bother you, but I need you," I choke in broken sobs. "No one else is picking up and I'm scared.""Come over," s

She made an appointment with her obgyn and I was going to go with her. She'd already explained to her doctor about my condition and that it's possibly my baby she's pregnant with. I was on the phone with my mom, sitting at a light and letting her know I was on my way to pick up Abbigail for her appointment. My light turned green and as I drive forward a car slams into my door, running their red light. My car spun into the car sitting at the light and my mother's voice echoed through my car. "Shawn, honey, can you hear me," she chokes, scared."I've been hit. My head hit the steering wheel hard and I can't feel my leg. I need to get to Abbigail," I say in a disoriented tone. I'm still getting used to the layout at my place with Shawn and didn't want to be alone. Before we could go home we had my first appointment for the baby.
