Barrin got into his car, feeling his hands shake vigorously. They wouldn't even hold onto the steering wheel. Shutting his eyes tightly, he tried hard to push back the tears making their way to his eyes. He should have known this was going to happen In the first place, but he had been too hopeful and had consistently turned a blind eye to the situation of things.

 

Turning on the car ignition, he drove out of the packhouse heading straight into the streets with only one destination in mind. It only took about two missed collisions and a small scratch on the side of his car to get him to where he was headed safely.

 

Getting out of the car, Barrin took a deep breath before knocking on the door. A young lady with a bright smile opened the door; her wolf seemed to leap at seeing him.
